Right? I'm really impressed how well the parody lines up with both The Doctor and the original lyrics. Here's the original song for comparison for those who aren't familiar with it:
I love it. I'm not super familiar with Hamilton but I remember the line, "I'm the damn fool who shot him," so I was just waiting for River to show up for that! Speaking of River shooting the Doctor....
That is brilliant! But I'm not entirely sure if there's more context that would make me like it more. Is that a parody of something? Like, Good Omens or something? BTW, never saying no finally answers my longstanding question of how Judi Dench ended up in The Chronicles of Riddick.
I'd say just a continuation of the chemistry those two have. Good Omens was an incredible short series.
I don't know how I've never seen this before, but this is a wonderful mashing of Doctor Who (Tennant era only) and DuckTales:
Surprised no one has dubbed Scrooge McDuck and Magica de Spell lines over Doctor and Donna footage yet. Could make for some funny video.
I nearly posted this in the TNZ music thread, but then a lot of people here would miss it. It’s from Peter Capaldi’s forthcoming album of the same name, but perhaps in your fanon his Doctor found time for a musical career of sorts. Thoughts after first listen: Really good and a bit Dylanesque. I’m interested to get a feel for the rest of the album, which apparently consists of songs of his own composition.
