I'm hoping Wolverine will drop by.
Nah. Q wouldn't give a shit what he looked like. After all, he doesn't really "look" like anything. He would make an excuse about how it would make things easier to relate to Picard on whatever personal journey he's now on, as someone different than the guy who commanded the Enterprise all those years ago (the point of the series, from what we're told).
Anyway, it would work fine for me. YMMV.
While that's true, I vaguely recall DeLancie being just as reluctant to revisit Q on screen as Spiner for reasons of aging. So ultimately it's up to the actors to decide if they want to be seen that way.
The return of Sisko in STP (Star Trek: Picard)! Hey why not a DS9 or Voyager character as well as TNG
Yes!How about Hugh Jackman as Admiral Logan?
I'd like to see Nella Darren![]()
The actress Wendy Hughes died in 2014.
If "Data" were on the show, personally I would prefer TPTB recast the role.Maybe they could farm out Data's de-aging to Marvel Studios' effects people.
He occupied the first two decades of his retirement as a "gentleman adventurer." Archaeologist, consulting detective, researcher, explorer, briefly the captain of a "pirate ship,"
In the movies we begin to see a different side of Picard. Perhaps owing to his age he is seen to be more adventurous, willing to take more personal risks.Picard would never be captain of a "pirate ship" (implies something nefarious or illegal, which is against his character).
