Who would you want to play the captain in Trek series 6

^ I guess you never heard the Duke of Wellington's remark that 'One may be born in a field but it does not make one a horse.' (referring to his being born in Ireland).

I'll give you the point on Reed though ...

Only if there is an automatic clothing replicator built into the turboloft...

"Quick Robin!! To the turboloift!!!"

***WAY*** too British. We don't want a captain to be THAT evil. This isn't an Imperial Star Destroyer we're talking about...
I thought British people were only evil if they talk in RP accent? :shifty:

Americans don't know the difference. There are two types of British accents:

1) Evil.

2) Can't understand what they fuck they're saying.

AND...

3) Bond. James Bond.

Naveen Andrews, I like. He can use his British accent and play an evil captain. Enver Gjokai from Dollhouse has been incredibly versatile and engaging this whole season. He's played a war veteran with PTSD, a serial killer, a traitorus NSA mole, a scientist, a British playboy, a brainless party girl, a Russian, an Italian, and Topher.

John Cho. I don't even mean Sulu. John Cho, as Sulu, could easily carry the lead role on a new series. Same with Zoe Saldana actually.

Bashir Julian Bashir also HELPED a supervillain wipe out that holographic version of Earth...

Sounds pretty damn evil to me...

Lucy Lawless
Carlos Bernard
James Morrison
Alec Baldwin - Captain Jack Donaghy :)
Shemar Moore
Mitch Pileggi
Adrian Paul
Peter Wingfield

A lot of good choices. I really liked the idea of John Cho starring in an Excelsior series. I've always thought Excelsior would've been a great idea of a TV show, and now there's a new Sulu, there's a new chance to do that, and they could keep it in the alternate universe and tie it to the new movies.

Some other ideas, didn't see these choices, but I might've missed them:

Jimmy Smits
Carla Gugino (sp)
Viola Davis
Benjamin Bratt
Tom Selleck
Joe Morton
Charles S. Dutton
Phil Morris
Sam O'Neill

Sam Worthington? He's got that hard edge to him, yet still a bit of human 'caring' about him, that could work for a starship captain.

Absolute perfect world, I'd love Liam Neeson to be a new captain. That said, I acknowledge there's less than a 0% chance that will ever happen.
