Who is the Mole?

Just curious ... those of you who say you pegged Craig "early on" ... are there posts here that confirm that?

Yes! I have a couple of posts on the first page that mention how I thought Craig was the mole because he was in an "ideal position" or something like that.

Good! Way to cover your butt! I like when people can back up something that they said that they said. (Follow that?)

I'll flat out admit I had him ruled out (I think I figured he was a possibility early, but his enthusiasm for each challenge made me think he was unlikely).

Thanks for bringing that to my attention. What an awesome podcast! Survivor, Amazing Race, The Mole, even The Principal's Office...I love all these shows and it sure is refreshing to hear people talking positively about them rather than bashing them just for being reality TV. I'll definitely keep listening to them. Thanks!

Yeah, you might want to listen to the archives of when they went through the Mole each week. One of them had Craig on his shortlist right after episode 1.

I guess my only problem with the show is that I don't like Big Brother... and that's a huge focus for them. Or was... I'm not sure if it's still on.

^Big Brother ended a few weeks ago...they talked about the finale in the podcast previous to this one. By the way I love Big Brother, so it's just awesome for me. They talked a little too much about Dancing With the Stars though.

Hah, I dunno... I think I'd rather just watch that MTV show... Real World... Road Rules... whatever it's called. I don't need a 24/7 feed that shows me two people having sex or whatever.

What would be nice is if they went to an enhanced podcast that would basically let you skip chapters, like a DVD. I've only really seen two podcasts that have done it and it's something people should use more often.

Well, Real World annoys me because it's all about people getting drunk and having sex. In the ten seasons of Big Brother there really hasn't been that much sex going on. It's all strategy, 24/7, like Survivor with heightened emotions, if that's possible. If people don't like the strategy aspect they won't like Big Brother.

Anyway...yeah that would be a great idea about the podcast thing.

Every time someone talks about Big Brother, at least that I've heard, it always involves two girls kissing.

I mean, I guess all reality shows have weird interactions on some level, but for some reason Big Brother seems to be more about the people than the games. That said, I haven't seen it beyond a few episodes of the first season, so I could be wrong.

But hey, different strokes and all that.

Big Brother actually really is more about the game than the people. The thing is, these people are cooped up constantly with each other, strategizing and becoming paranoid and anxious, which can then lead to emotional breakouts and arguments. So in that respect it's about the people, but really it all goes back to the game. Like I said, there's not that much sex. What happens is there is one little incident and some guys rave about it constantly. There was a real relationship this season, but that's rare. Big Brother is actually a lot more about the game than even Survivor sometimes.

It is starting to sound like I'm trying to convince you to watch the show - I'm not really, I don't care either way. I do think that some of what your saying about the show is related to the misperceptions that a lot of people have about it. Like other shows, the clips/advertisements that get out are the raciest and most sex-filled moments, but that's not really representative of the show as a whole. Unlike Real World, where they have no shame in admitting that it is all about the sex.

Oh yeah, all I know about it is that there are cameras all over the house and you can watch them sleep and eat and brush their teeth.
Although, I guess maybe it was Big Brother Australia where the people had sex in front of the cameras and they aired it on TV.

Maybe I'll catch an episode or two next cycle... who knows.

^Oh yeah, that's a good point to mention...other countries' versions of Big Brother are waaay racier!

Yeah. To be honest, I still can't get over the fact that they can swear on network TV.
