Who here liked "Pushing Daisies?"

I just finished the shows only two seasons, early this morning. I think it was a great and brilliant show. I just loved it. So colorful and I think sexy and romantic. The mysteries were good and the concept was very original. I think the detective was my favorite character but I liked them all. Can you imagine what a Trek show would look like made by the creator if this show!

I loved Pushing Daisies. So much fun, and it had a great, unique style. As good as some of his more recent stuff has been, I miss the bright, colorful, light hearted fun Bryan Fuller shows.

I loved it! I missed most of the second season because I went to boot camp and then I never got back to watching them, partially because I was so bummed the series was canceled.. One of these days, I'll watch the whole series again and for the first time.

I still mourn it.

Same here. I just adored this show-- the look, the humor, the narration.... *sigh*.

Plus, I had/have a crush on Emerson Cod. He was my kind'a guy.

Pushing Daisies was an absolute delight! I loved it - the style, characters, heartache (poor Digby, who couldn't be touched by Ned), humour, narration, amazing guest stars, and synchronised swimming! I'm going to have to go in for my fourth or fifth re-watch...

If it helps the show is available on Amazon Prime Video. That's where I watched it and it's in HD.

My favorite Olive Snook song was "Eternal Flame" from the pie contest. When she sang, "Say my name--" her song would be interrupted by Ned leaning in to say "Chuck" and then "Olive".
I miss that show. Excellent cast. Possibly one of the most talented casts.

I liked it, but I think it's "charm" and style wore thin pretty quickly. I think what hurt it more than anything was the WGA strike of 2008/2009.

I disagree. I felt it was getting even better as As both Cod and Olive found romance with two other characters and the show was starting to reveal more and more about each character. Early on it was kind of Ned and Chuck heavy I felt which was great but then it started to grow and while doing this it didn't take away from those characters and simply started to make things more complex. I also enjoyed the vast array of interesting guest characters of the week. It wasn't just the regulars who were talented but they seemed to bring in lots of A list character actors on a weekly basis.

I loved it! Morgan Freeman was terrific and Jessica Tandy definitely deserved the Oscar for that performance. I know the film dealt with the relationship between a widowed Jewish woman and her African-American chauffer in the deep south from the late 1940s until the early 1970s but to classify it as a science fiction film is a bit of head scratcher. :wtf:
