Laris. But I think that she is still a Watcher?

Aren't you a star trek fan? Lol
Certainly are days I wish I wasn’t.

We are Star Trek nerds. Trekkers or Trekkies. We nitpick things to death. That is our culture. That is our way.
No. That’s your choice. You can also choose to enjoy (or not), discuss, maybe point out some flaws and move on with your life.
Nah. It's too much fun to nitpick star trek things to death. I've been doing it for years. I really do enjoy picking out all the flaws. I've read the nitpickers guide to star trek several times. Genius books those are. Great fun.
You do you.
Some things I just don't understand. Nitpicking something you supposedly are a fan of I'd one. Imagine nitpicking your spouse and then saying it's out of love. You do you.

I doubt many of us do it constantly.I mean, I’ve think we all nitpicked our loved ones. It’s the finding glee in nitpicking the things and people we love that I find questionable.
Star Trek fans do. They have several nitpickers guides for star trek. Not sure why this is a problem. Star Trek fans love to find inconsistencies. It's been our way for generations.I doubt many of us do it constantly.
My confusion stems from the use of multiple thespians performing many roles with the producers hoping that the audience would not notice. Unless it is intentional? So far in Star Trek, only noting those relevant to Picard in particular we have had:Laris isn't a Watcher. You're thinking of Tallinn. Same actress, different characters.
Not all fans do. That's my point. There exists fans besides that type.Star Trk fans do. They have several nitpickers guides for star trek. Not sure why this is a problem. Star Trek fans love to find inconsistencies. It's been our way for generations.
I have given up on Star Trek making me happy. Too many years of being told "don't like that show; like this one." have taken their toll. I'd rather just find a small measure of entertainment and just not worry about happiness in a franchise.
