A bit of an odd question. Hasn't everyone watched all of them ?

Only 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6 are really any good though.

I really like 8 and 13, and don't mind 5 and 11, and can stand 7 because I'll always consider the Shatnerverse novels canon...but 9, 10 and 12? Yeesh.

I've seen all of them. Into Darkness is awesome, by the way:techman:

Yep, same. Seen em all and I love Into Darkness. :D

ETA - I saw 5-8 at the cinema. Then I saw Star Trek, missed Into Darkness and saw Beyond at the cinema twice (I love that movie).

Nope, especially not if you only count active watching (like actually paying attention to the movie as opposing to doing work and stuff while its on) and/or if you only count watching the entire movie.
If you only count that I've only really seen TMP, Voyage Home, TUC and GEN-NEM.

Fair enough. I've long assumed that as Trek fans we mostly kept up with at least the movies if not all the shows.

My attitude was probably formed by becoming a fan between TOS and TMP and there was so little Trek about we read novels and devoured the movie we got every few years.

To this day I've watched every episode and purchased them all on DVD and Bluray. Even the ones I like less.

Well, with the exception of Lower Decks anyway.

I bid my time in between Trek movies by drawing starships and reading starship technical manuals along with collecting starship blueprints.

Then when the next movie was advertised...through the roof I went.

I am now going to buy all the Star Trek movies as a collection set. Thanks for reminding me of the excitement Relayer1, and Probably TOS all three seasons as well. Gotta let the engines cool down after a run like that though.

I've seen them all in the theater and have seen almost all of them either on opening day, or during the opening weekend with the exception on TMP and Nemesis.
TMP had been out a couple of weeks before I saw it (I was only 11 years old - I needed to convince my parents to take me). For Nemesis, my son was born right before it was released, and it had probably been out a month or so before I was able to see it.

There is nothing that can compare to watching a Trek movie in theater.

We went and saw Star Trek IV in the theaters (35th anniversary) a couple of months ago.

Quite fun.

I remember seeing TUC in the theaters, and the crowd erupting when Sulu opened up on the Bird of Prey.

:techman:

Ya, that definitely was a holy (*&^ moment.

I had seen them all theatrically in their original release except for TMP, as I was only 3 when it came out. I closed the loop a few years ago when they re-released it theatrically. So, technically I’ve seen them all in the theaters.

I saw them all opening night from TFF onward.

My favorite theater experience was TFF, which was my first movie of any kind on an opening night. My dad and I went to dinner and then saw the movie in a sold-out theater. Pretty cool. I also loved the experience of seeing Star Trek in 2009 on opening night, which was an advance showing on a Wednesday (so May 7th). That was a great time and a very exciting night to be a Star Trek fan.

Overall, I love all the Star Trek movies. I grew up on them and they really are “my Star Trek” even more than any of the series. I miss having films to look forward to every 2-3 years, but the new television series are fun enough I guess.

I've seen 4 onward in theatres, plus 2 thanks to a local showing a few years back, so all but 1 and 3 were nights out.

Seen them all more than once. I've watched them in the cinema from The Voyage Home to Star Trek Beyond. I have the DVDs for each film except Beyond. This thread has inspired me to have a Trek Weekend and watch all the movies again from TMP (boo!) to Beyond.

First film I saw at the theater and the trigger to my deep dive into Trek was First Contact. Was very excited when Insurrection came out - my first Trek experience at the pictures as a bona fide Trekkie! Well, that was as fun as a whack to the head with a large halibut. Skipped Nemesis till it came out on DVD.

I've seen all the Kelvin flicks on the big screen. '09 was fantastic. The other two had their moments. Not as big a fan of Beyond as others.
