You spend an awful lot of time dwelling on Star Trek shows you're supposedly "ignoring."For me, it all depends on if Kurztman and his cronies are beamed away after the merger. If they stick around, I'll continue to ignore their version. If new blood comes in, it will depend on who and what their approach will be. I feel that if franchises like Superman and Halloween can skip past iterations to tell different stories, Star Trek should be able to as well. Pretend JJ and Abrams Trek never happened, ignore the TNG films, and give us either the first Federation starship or a true Next Next Generation, on the Enterprise-H, at least sixty years after "All Good Things..."
