Whichever role I ended up with on VOY, I'm confident that I would be on extra-duty, often. Being made to buff the outer hull of Voyager, so that it would continue to look shiny and new, for all 7 seasons. There I'd be with a tin of Turtle Car Wax and a bucket of frothy water, scrubbing her down, whilst everyone else was having fun on their off-hours ... laughing and loving ...

Role? Job? I wouldn't want a red shirt role, something functional but background. Could see myself as Kes as she was when she first took her place as part of the crew. She was kind, empathic and extremely capable. She saw the value of The Doctor before anyone else did. I really did enjoy Seven but Kes should've remained.
