If the Helen Noel character appeared in one other TOS episode, which episode would you have wanted it to be? And of course, why?

I've never thought of this, though a fan since 1971.

"The Apple," and remove Chekov, his girl, and Spock. Kirk and Noel teach the natives
to kiss, and more (offscreen, of course). At the end, Helen objects to his breaking
the PD. The new tag would be something like:
Kirk: Well, if I'm the "Devil" in this "Eden," who would be the apple?
Helen Noel (exasperated): The apple!?
Kirk (smirking): Alright, maybe more of a peach.
Clinch, fade out.

I'd suggest "Return to Tomorrow."

Obviously, Marianna Hill could play a major guest star, and having Kirk and Noel play out the Sargon-Thalassa romance would have added an extra layer to the story because of their history.

But poor Helen: Once again Kirk is "in love" with her, and once again she has to put up with it because he's "not himself."
