No mystery which series I voted for. Babylon 5 - it had its flaws but it was different in a good way. It stood out against everything else at that time in the way it was made, looked and sounded... all while telling an epic story.

Farscape was actually a close second.... and for pretty much the same reasons as what drew me to B5. Different isn't always good, but often it gives you a chance and in those two cases the sows made good on being different.

Firefly is the only one I've seen, so I guess I'll vote for that one (well, actually, I did watch Andromeda for about the first half of its run, but I don't like to talk about that ).

Farscape, closely followed by Moore's BSG. Other favorites would have to include Firefly and Stargate SG-1, which is not listed but one of its spin-offs is.

Some good shows on that list, notably Blakes 7 and Babylon 5 - but I had to vote for Space: 1999. (Though I'll qualify that I'm only really voting for the first series.) It's the show that's affected me like nothing else ever has. Will mine be the only vote, I wonder? Frankly, I'm glad and surprised that it was even one of the choices.
