Contest: VOTE Which Female Would Best Be Janeway's 1st Officer?

PLEASE, PLEASE ADD A COMMENT TO YOUR VOTE....

For years I've tried to come up with the perfect "All-Female Crew". They can come from any series prior to Discovery. Otherwise, there aren't enough to choose from.

I get laughed at for placing Trio as First Officer. What about her in Season 7 only? If not, good luck explaining a better choice lol

OPS is just as difficult to figure out.

Captain: Janeway, easy
First Officer: Commander Trio (season 7)
Second Officer: Seven
Bridge Tactical at battle stations: Seven

OPS: No clue! T'Pol?
Chief Engineer: B'Elanna Torres, easy
Science: T'Pol
Chief Security: Yar, T'Pol or Roe

Con Pilots: Roe and Sito Jaxa. She was in "The First Duty" and "Lower Decks". Look her up. She's a stud.

All of those characters would be a great choice... if, they had to take every interesting layer of their personalities away from them in order for Captain Janeway to upstage them. What made Janeway so superior was the writing never allowed anyone to challenge her.

Why not Jadzia Dax? From the perspective of the characters, she would be a good, strong compliment to Janeway.

She's smart, can stay cool in difficult situations and learn quick. She would be an excellent First Officer.

Captain=Janeway
First Officer=Kes
Tactical=Ezri Dax (In my scenario Ezri and Jadzia would have been sisters instead of symbiont hosts).
Ops=Kira Nerys
Helm=Ro Laren
Science=Jadzia Dax
Doctor=Beverly Crusher
Chief Engineer-B'Elanna Torres (simply the best engineer)
Mess hall/cook=Samantha Wildman (I didn't know where else to put her.)
Torpedo and Shuttle Building Team=Seven Of Nine

My second choice is Kira as First Officer and Kes as OPS

Not always my friend, not always.

In this case, I did actually come up with an alternate solution with Kes on OPS and Kira as First Officer.

But with her ability to learn, Kes would fit in at most posts on Voyager.

Except for Chief Engineer and Helm. B'Elanna is so outstanding as Chief Engineer and I'm not sure if Kes is that handy with engines and such. She seems to be the thinking person, not the engineering type.

And I do think that Ro Laren, Jadzia Dax or Ezri Dax are better when it comes to piloting a ship.

Probably the Jadzia who in later seasons of DS9 didn't do any science at all, or rather much thinking, but pilot the Defiant. I think that Jadzia who married Worf would be a great subordinate to Janeway. A CO who preferred her 1st officer to just say, "Yes, Ma'am.", "Yes, Sir", or "Yes, Captain!"
