Which division of Buffy is your favorite?

I thought the different Buffy eras neatly reflected life and the journey from childhood to adulthood, whether intentional or not.

Seasons 2-6 for me.
Season1 was a bit of a bore fest, and as for season 7, couldn't stand those teenage brats better known as the potential slayers.

I re-watched Season One recently and it wasn't anywhere near as bad as I remember it. Season 7 was worse the second time through... Sorry Saturn 5.

Not even 'Him'? Not even Chosen or Selfless, Bring on the Night or Dirty Girls?

Him? Him is the worst episode of S7 as far as I'm concerned and a waste of time that could have been spent much better. The best episodes are Conversations with Dead People, Selfless, and Dirty Girls. Chosen has some great moments but is also incredibly flawed, I have to say it's the weakest Buffy finale.

Agreed completely DevilEyes. Selfless and Dirty Girls were great episodes and Conversations with Dead People is definitely in my top ten. I absolutely hated Him though. A less charming remake Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered.

And I have posted a lot about my feelings of Chosen and while, yes, it's nice that Buffy was able to survive, but that doesn't make it a good story. I like finales that make the show come full circle and while it tried (I give it that), it failed in that respect.

No question.....I enjoyed the whole run, but the High School years were clearly Buffy's best.
