It's actually a conspiracy between Paramount and Century Fox!^^^
This is an evil plot by paramount to make us watch the movie several more times.

That is very annoying. He should not be there. How the heck am I supposed to fit that into canon? Unless.. Star Wars premiered on earth in the Trekiverse just like it did here and having him in the bar is just some kitschy antique decoration. I suppose this works, after all they obviously still had the Beastie Boys etc.. it's kind of weird though as it would mean my other universe is a fictional story in this universe..
Keenser makes a sighing noise just like R2D2 does when disappointed.
I wonder if it's in the debris cloud the Enterprise encounters at Vulcan?
I read an interview where some the Trek movie people were talking about having some interesting stuff there, and they said we'd really only be able to see it once the DVD came out because we'd have to pause and look.
I feel free to say: Yes, I think you're right about that; the 3rd clip of that place to be precise - but then, I could be mistaken...Open to US residents
Of course it did. Star Wars was before the Eugenics wars. Therefore, the Star Trek Universe probably had SW, TESB, and RotJ.
They probably didn't get the prequels, though.

Lucky them!!!
You could hide the entire star wars movie in that debris field

I never did find that kitchen sink in the Star Wars film
Very (very!) bad image of where I think I see r2d2.
