A video game is different from a TV Show obviously (different pay and such), but when one of the STO Devs asked if he would like to be in the game sometime, he said sure, but as long as he wasn't playing Wesley.

Though they still haven't actually hired him for any roles lol. Maybe they don't want him to play anyone but Wesley.

Fans have spent thirty years shitting on the character and the actor, I'm surprised Wheaton would want anything to do with Star Trek.

I'd actually hate that, not everyone needs to become an officer and I liked that Wesley's story on TNG ended with him stepping away from starfleet.
If he returns I'd like to see him as a civilian scientist or an educator or heck just make him the owner of an art gallery, just because a kid has certain talents and potential in a field they don't have to make that their career.

Wesley is supposed to have Mozart level talents with engineering and propulsions. If Mozart wound up as an account or a gym teacher, wouldn't that be a tragic waste of potential?

I have rewatched the last 'Picard' trailer and taken a look at the woman painted by Data at the beginning of the trailer

The woman in Data's picture at 0:18 resembles Dr Crusher, her long hair and dress (resembling her doctor's coat) gives it away to me.

The camera then flashbacks to Picard saying "I don't know how," then his mind took him a battle scene between Federation fleet and a bunch of Romulan warbids.

I now concur with what a previous poster have said earlier that, sadly, Dr Crusher was killed during this battle - the 'unthinkable' moment for Picard that leads him to resign from Starfleet and retired to his vineyard.

I don't know if you've heard the news Gates McFadden posted on twitter she is recovering from surgery she recently had a week or two ago. You can post your get well wishes on her official twitter page.

Gates has been tweeting for the past week or so regarding her surgery and how she's coping with it. This tweet (posted on October 14th) seems to hint that she's recovering from a cancer surgery, although it hasn't been officially confirmed by either her or her publicist,

I wish Gates a speedy recovery and I hope she can beat the disease. She has aged well and I hope she'll be around for many more years :bolian::bolian:

I want to see her playing Dr Crusher at least one more time, even when it's in flashback. I like her moments in TNG and thought she was under-utilized in both the series and the movies. Let's hope the show-runners won't make the same mistake again

Oh No! I'm sorry she might had to have cancer surgery. It really can take a long time to recover from that kind of surgery. It's a long road to get to feeling like yourself again. I wish her a speedy recovery.I really would like to see her in Star Trek Picard.

I'm pretty sure that's Dahj Data is painting.
I really hope Beverly didn't die before the show starts, I've always liked her and I'd hate to see her killed like that.
I'm hoping the go they All Good Thing route and have them divorced.

Ditto I definitely thinks it's Dahjs image in Data's painting I thought so when I watched the trailer the first time.

Beverly uses the transporter to get younger (they are still negotiating with Bryce Dallas Howard to play the role), Stewart had no wish to have a 70 year old woman play his love interest. ;)

My my, no kidding. She looks like a younger version of Beverly allright - at least when she was in her twenties. She has gained quite a bit of weight lately :confused:.

She could've easily played Cadet Beverly Howard:

Or Dr Crusher in a TNG reboot:
https://tvseriesfinale.com/tv-show/swans-fifth-avenue-bryce-dallas-howard-star-limited-series/

But yes, if they ever do a flashback scene to the time they were serving in 'Stargazer' together, Bryce could've played a younger Beverly ;)

I like to think that Beverly is also retired and happy, living comfortably in her Grandmother's house on Caldos IV.
:)

She's being a cougar with some alien that possessed one of those glade plug in air fresheners. It's an heirloom from her great aunt gertrude

Assimilated by the Borg... Now wouldn't that be a kick in the pants??

That would've certainly pushed Picard over the age and motivated his resignation from Starfleet. However, it would've opened a pathway for her to make a return appearance in the future, once Picard & Co manages to rescue and detach her from the Collective. It's certainly a better pathway for her rather than simply killing her off.

In any case, the new 'Countdown' comic installment will be released tomorrow. Anyone want to bet a dollar that it would've featured her cameo in some Romulan colony??

Beverly's the new Borg queen. Finally she'll get the spotlight!

I like the idea too, although I assume that would've cost the show-runners a lot of $$$ to make Gates agree to wear heavy Borg prosthetics in this role :hugegrin: ;);)

Hopefully not having a ghost living inside an antique lamp as her boyfriend :D:D:hugegrin::hugegrin:
