When is the last time you have skipped or frolicked?

I don't think I have ever skipped a day in my life. I think I might have frolicked as a child. I have images or memories of me playing in tall grass or some kind of field. I think playing in a big pile of mud in a carefree manner also counts.

Things I tend to do today is I kind of wobble because of my size or shuffle because of my size plus bad knee or legs that always seem to hurt. I do tippy toe at times because I am usually up when many people are at my house, sleeping.

Other things that I have done before but don't do anymore is run, jog, hustle or strut. Granted it's hard to strut when you don't have headphones to play music when you start to go from place to place. Plus it's never really the same unless your listening to "Staying Alive" by the "Bee Gee's."

I REALLY struggled to learn how to skip, and I still can't do it well. I've been doing some skipping practice with my kids, so I guess the answer is two or three days ago.

I skipped a minute ago, upon reading this post, just to see if I still had the muscle memory.

Kinda.

The wife and I have the occasional frolic. Which reminds me that I need to ask my doctor for some frolic pills before we try gamboling again.

If your frolic lasts for four or more hours.... TELL EVERYBODY BECAUSE THAT'S AWESOME.

Let's not forget it's also possible to slide, hop, hustle, scamper, mosey on down, straggle, moonwalk or walk like a Egyptian. Now anyone who has ever had to walk on ice has mostly likely slided before. I slide once right into doing a banana split which was not fun or just recently off my porch. Can't hop of course because of weight/legs to slow to hustle not to mention I usually don't have anything going on that I would need to do it.

I did scamper not that long ago when me and my family were looking for my lost cell phone. I don't think anyone can mosey on down unless your a cowboy in the old west. I straggle pretty much every time I have to walk for more than 5 minutes at a time. I really need to get into better shape. I tried to moonwalk when I was a kid but never could do it. Always would end up taking more regular steps. Not sure why I never tried to Walk like a Egyptian. I suspect I thought I would look silly and since I was shy I was not about to do that in front of people.

Does line dancing count?

Is that the country style dancing? I'm not sure if any dancing would count except for a conga line. Simply not enough forward momentum involved. Or backward momentum if you go with the moonwalk. I think crawling would count as would rolling on the ground. Swinging from place to place like Spiderman or Tarzan I think also counts. You could also meander, somersault or back flip.

I've never skipped, frolicked, scampered, or done any slipping and sliding. I do, however, occasionally strut and/or swagger.

Be sure to seek professional help if you find yourself becoming a compulsive gamboler!

Once in awhile I hokey-pokey and duck duck goose with my granddaughters. I get tired long before they do. I wish I could bottle all that energy...

I have small children so we frolic and skip and twirl often. Prior to that I would say 2nd grade.

Any kind of energetic dancing should count, especially if it's spontaneous and not too regimented.

My cat frolicks. I don't anymore, unless it's an occasional bit of ungraceful dancing to my favorite YouTube videos. Sure, my cat looks at me like I've lost my mind. But as long as I do all the things for her that she expects, it works out.
