When Do You Want To See Burnham Become The STD Captain?

We've already seen how Spock was granted special dispensation by Starfleet. Effectively, no mutiny ever occurred.
He had a really good lawyer ;)

Kirk needed a better one :)

^ That's a good point, actually...who was Burnham's lawyer? Because obviously she'd be entitled to legal representation when facing a general court martial.

I suspect if Samuel T. Cogley had been representing Burnham, she'd have got off scot-free.

Klingon syphilis?

Actually I can see Burnham not making captain again, but I could see her being a first officer under Captain Tilly. Tilly can pull favors to get Burnham on her ship so she has someone to tease about their wind parties back during the war. Because otherwise Burnham is supposedly a good first officer, at least according to both Saru and Georgiou, prior to when she wasn't.

Burnham openly admits what she did. She even used her killing T'Kuvma as something to impress Mudd.

More like charges dropped.
No - Charges never filed. (The stuff on the Enterprise was a Talosian illusion.)

It wasn't to impress Mudd - it was to show him she was valuable to the Klingons and witch point she killed herself to force him to reset the 30 minute time loop and get back people Mudd had killed.

The real Mendez was watching at Starbase 11.

That right's. Quite a different thing than attempting to impress him.

Yeah. Never. You don't get to commit treason, a crime we execute people for today, and then get to be captain of a vessel of any kind. Nope. There's no coming back from that. Not all the way at least.

But you do get to be a helmsman.

mutiny, not treason

Given her PTSD and her mutiny, I don't think she should be a captain.

I'm a Lorca fan. Therefore, he's doomed.
Burnham doesn't have PTSD.

If she did she wouldn't have passed the psych eval required to become an officer.

Have you watched Star Trek? All sorts of people get to be officers.
I think the psych eval for Starfleet is "How ya feeling?" "I'm feeling good". "Okay. Next!"

While you might have been able to claim that before episode 6, now we know otherwise.

So yea, take your fanon to the curb, she doesn't have PTSD.
