Technically that was a different account, though. I joined as Mr. Laser Beam, then (in 2005) started over with a new one (Babaganoosh). I've since switched back to my old name.

11 years this week(Sept 99), found a link on Jammers page and spent most of my time early on only in the TOS forum.

Exactly the same thing that happened to me, but 3 years later. By Sept 99 I only had the internet for 3 months - which seems unbelievable to me now

I do remember dialing up, logging on, logging in to TBBS, all on a 14.4k modem. Couple months later, got a LaSat 28.8k external modem and started burning up the internets.

I have been registered here since summer of 2002, in some form or another. And like most everyone else, I lurked before joining and that started in summer of 2000. My current registration (and present form) is 4.5 years old though. I guess that makes me both old and new.


Edit to Add: I never know how old I should say I am since I have registered three times. Should it be from my current registration or the first one that was lost in the crash.
