I hope so. And I hope someone is checking the emails over there. I've moved twice since donating.
Lets all hope for a great new year and the release of the last part of TTI.
Well, when I donated years ago, I received a DVD of the Savage Empire.
Happy New Year!
I donated early to the second episode and what was sent out was "The Making of Starship Exeter: The Savage Empire" in a nice cover, but there was an extra, unlabeled disk as well and this was an unadvertised DVD version of "The Savage Empire".
I believe I also donated to the second episode, and for that names were to be added to the bridge set's wall plaque, IIRC. And the next "Making of..." DVD, perhaps?
Yea, I had the same thing, I donated and all the email mentioned was a "Making of" video, which was quite interesting as well and worth the donation just by itself. I also received a blank disk which turned out to be "The Savage Empire". Actually just watched it a few months ago when we moved in the house we're in now and I unpacked all the vcr tapes, dvd's and blu-rays. I donated to the second episode as well, but it's been so long I no longer have the email or even remember what it stated you'd get.
So that's how Jim got fat.
Ok. THAT was just mean.
Well I hope he bought himself a Tressaurian cheesburger.
Hopefully he'll get angry enough to bring Exeter back. Weight or age don't bother me.
And stupid. xortex may have his warning for his unnecessary comment.
Bonz, occasionally fat, always crabby.
There was a time when I thought "fat" jokes were funny. As my waistline expands my tolerance for such declines.
So, today I went walking and decided to dial up a podcast to listen to. I remembered that there was a short series of them done for Exeter's TTI. They were produced by it's director Scott Cummings. They are fun, humorous, and somewhat informative. They also offer some candid interviews with the principals involved. Dennis even makes an appearance. If you haven't heard them, I suggest heading over to the apple store and searching Starship Exeter. One note though, some episodes don't play. Not sure why. I started with episode 3.
Are we there yet? Any new teasers? Huh? Huh? (tail wagging)
Sooooo, any updates, or screen shots?????????????????????
According to rumors, Dennis' dog ate the updates.
How many years has this been in post production now?
From Exeter's website:
"Filming for STARSHIP EXETER 'The Tressaurian Intersection' at Austin Studios wrapped on August 1, 2004."
So, seven and half years of post-production.
Polaris may or may not turn out as wonderfully as we hope, but it's premature to call it a "dog."
The parody is waiting in the wings...
And some stuff from the old Exeter board:
Separate names with a comma.
