What would you do if you had a holodeck in your home?

So if the wife allows for a ultra precise holographic scan of herself. In order to create a holographic avatar for her husband to have sex with. Is that still cheating? She doesn't actively control the avatar but it's actions are based on an approximation of her personality.
If she allows it, than no it's not cheating.

If i had a holodeck, I'd do the same thing I would if I had a replicator. Magic up the worlds biggest fry-up and eat til I burst.

Hold on, if it's actions are based on an approximation of her personality then all that will happen is I'll get turned down in the holodeck as well.

Personally I'd really create the enterprise d and go on missions round the galaxy, which might be rather missing the point in a circular way....
Not really, with holodeck you can do anything, personally I would magic up a sand box version of games like final fantasy 8 and the like and see what happens when I do different things. Or explore the universe of my favorite films.

It would be nice if we could create holographic interactive versions of famous movies. The computer would have to extrapolate three dimensional images of two dimensional recordings. That's a tricky thing.

Every so often the discussion drifts back to Moriarty and that episode. I have always thought the entire premise was ridiculous, even for a holodeck episode, and it's the same reason I find the Doctor in VOY to be completely ridiculous as well.

Actually, I have a lot of suspension of disbelief problems with holodeck technology in general as it's presented in Trek, particularly the way it's used in various storylines.
