What Would an Oberth's Engineering Area be Like?

Nope cus in the ep the Ship was Phase cloaked and decloaked within a asteroid so behind the column is wall of stone and metal mixed

Looks like I better get my artistic license ready, since I need to make the interiors of an Oberth, since my characters are getting an Oberth, and gotta make the innards of it.

The Cygnus X1 database has some deckplans.

Grissom Oberth

It has the Grissom @ 198 meters & the Oberth @ 150 meters.

I am aware of the size, of lack of it, I just need to know what the insides look like, as in rooms, halls, engineering, etc. I'm already planning on making a TNG style warp core using various odds and ends. It's going to be a complete improvisation on my end.:p

^To quote the site:

The following blueprints/schematics were created by the former Strategic Design company founded by David Schmidt; the illustrator of the famed U.S.S Enterprise NCC-1701A Deck Plans.

Unfortunately, SD is no longer in operation and, due to the incredible quality of these blueprint sets, few are ever put up for sale.

Despite the shut-down of SD, only a couple of samples of each SD blueprint set will be presented here on Cygnus-X1.Net.

The Oberth Class plans consist of seven 11"x17" sheets.
You're circumventing their intentions if you can get to all of the full size images that way.

If they don't want you to get to them they should not have published them on the net.

I agree with you.

^Technically, they didn't. It's just bad website design that's letting you access things you shouldn't. If someone leaves the front door open on their house it's still stealing if you take their tv.

You might find this page helpful:

Deck numbers on the left get you deckplans.

You're both right. If they didn't want them accessed, they should have disabled/removed the URL for those pages, or the actual pages, from the server.

It doesn't take much brain power to figure out the numbering scheme.

Though it's not quite stealing to access a webpage, just for reference purposes.

And since the publisher closed up shop several years ago and can no longer get money for the designs...meh.

Still want to know what happened about all that.

from what i read something happened between the 2 guys working on them. As to what i dont think its been revealed

Hi,
I'm one the the aforementioned 2 guys. And yes something happened. If I could track down the other person there will be legal action being taken. But that's a story for another day and another website. To moderators, if this goes beyond what you are comfortable with, delete or edit this post.

As for the prints being visible on the Cygnus site, I'll ask the webmaster to remove those links again.

Yeah, the engineering should look more like the Pegasus, even if it's a ST3 version (Grissom).

Well i hope that does get worked out cus i was hoping to buy a set legit and was kinda hoping to get my Copy of Starfleet Prototype signed by David Schmidt =/
