What would Alternate Reality episodes be like (a la Parallels)

A recent thread got me thinking about the multiverse versions for some episodes like in Parallels. For example one where Captain Picard was killed in BOBW. Remember I'm not talking about Mirror episodes. Just curious what you all think.

There's a reality out there where Deanna Troi can't stand chocolate. Everything else is exactly the same but Troi hates chocolate.

Another reality where Geordi gets tons of success with the intergalactic ladies - and they never leave his holodeck programs early.

Actually, quite a few of those realities should have Shelby on the Enterprise as first officer or captain, including the crazy reality we see in that episode with bearded Riker and Worf - because of the high chance Picard wouldn't have been rescued from the Borg.

Just thought of one! Where no one has gone before, JLP decides to stay after the first jump and the traveller and kosinsky can't get the enterprise back so they continue their mission to explore but years before voyager. Kind of a downer.

One where Yar didn't die what would happen in Yesterday's Enterprise?!

Multiverse would maybe be cool for an episode here & there, but it would get old really quickly. No consequences would have any real meaning. And don't forget: ST characters are hard enough to kill off as it is.

The reality where Wesley Crusher doesn't quit Starfleet, and graduates just in time to spend 7 years as an Ensign at ops on USS Voyager.

In this reality Harry was bounced out of Starfleet for supporting his friend Tom Pa... uh, "Nick Locarno" in his risky maneuvers.

A parallel universe where Armus killed Deanna Troi and not Natasha Yar. The following year Data is ruled to be Starfleet property and not a sentient being, as such Bruce Maddox takes him to pieces, leading to Worf appointed as Ops Manager. Years later, Ensign Lal joins the ship as the new Science Officer.

Minus Worf and Lal, I used similar premises for my short fanfic chronology of the "Yesterday's Enterprise" war timeline. In this reality, the reason we see Yar and not Deanna is because Armus killed the latter instead. And Data in that timeline has no individual rights (indeed, Maddox and his team are working to reverse engineer him and create an army of Soong androids for battle purposes).

I guess Worf and Troi having kids who are all as annoying as Wesley Crusher is not a good reality.....:guffaw:

They could have made an entire series around it, with Worf as an (extremely grumpy) slider.

Would have made for a fun series, at least until the inevitable happens and Worf runs into the Kromagg... sorry, I mean the Na'Kuhl (or other Temporal War factions).

Of course, but I was thinking more like in our vast multiverse, if trek ran in those, what would some of the episodes be like.

An alternate reality where the Chief of Security and Chief Medical Officer are replaced every season.

Season 1: Dr. Beverly Crusher & Lt. Natasha Yar
Season 2: Dr. Katherine Pulaski & Lt. Worf
Season 3: Dr. Selar & Lt. Burke
Season 4: Dr. Hill & Lt. Jenna D'Sora
Season 5: Dr. Simon Tarses & Lt. Ro Laren
Season 6: Dr. Maddy Calloway & Lt. Sandra Rhodes
Season 7: Dr. Alyssa Ogawa & Lt. Barnaby

A reality where every character dies at the first opportunity.

Tasha - frozen to death in Encounter At Farpoint

Picard - beamed into space in Lonely Among Us

Wesley - executed in Justice

Worf - stabbed to death in Hide And Q

Beverly - phasered to death by Lore in Datalore

Riker - blown to pieces along with the Enterprise in 11001001

Deanna - killed by Armus in Skin of Evil

Data - phasers himself to death in Skin of Evil

Geordi is the only character to survive Season 1. He continues into Season 2 aboard the Enterprise-E.

Wow that went dark fast lol

There was a comic called "The Worst of Both Worlds" where the Enterprise is sucked into a universe where they lost "Best of Both Worlds". Worf goes sleeveless and Riker has an eye patch and jacket.

There was also one called "The Choice" where Q gives Picard the choice to save his brother (yes he had a brother) Claude, who died as a child. Unfortunately, he grew up to be French Space Hitler and turned Starfleet bad. Riker and the Enterprise were part of a rebel faction Starfleet was hunting down.

Opportunity or likelihood? I mean if you're at it, why not let Wesley drown/electrocuted in that holodeck pool in the very first episode? (In this reality, Data is slightly less well-designed and gets shortcircuited the moment he jumps into the water - two flies in one stroke).
