What We Left Behind - Documentary Update Confirms *Some* HD Remastering

So, I received my Blu-ray copy of the documentary a while back, but I was bogged down under a lot of crap at work at the time then went on my big holiday to New Zealand and forgot I even had it until today when I was tidying up. So I stuck it on and loved every minute of it--was welling up with the "in memory" section, thinking how there were now two other very important names that would now be included. Working my way through the special features on one disk, still got the second one to go!

Though it has left me with a deep desire to have another full rewatch

Saw this a while back and it was moving. Damn I miss that show. I mean, I can rewatch it anytime I want, but it's not the same. Kind of like watching my kids grow up. I love them, but they're 8 and 5 now and they'll never be babies again. Or be 1 or 2 years old again. And there's no more babies coming, and I wish I had been able to save that moment in time somehow.

note: my love of DS9 is not the same as the love of my children. But it's goddamned close

I've found the ads on Tubi to be very unobtrusive. I was pleasantly surprised.

Saw the Documentary for the first time on Tubi a couple days ago. Very well done. I still have hope we will get a machine learning upscale at the very least.
