I was reading recent tweets by Ira Steven Behr; on March 8th he tweeted that he had just watched the 5 hour writer's room footage. Sounds like there is movement on it being released.
How true is this?
A remaster of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine is finally being produced by CBS Studios and Secret Hideout. While details about the project are still being kept under wraps, The Vulcan Reporter can reveal that this remaster will be developed by FX3X, a VFX company located in Skopje, Macedonia, and Los Angeles, California. A 4K scan of the original filmed footage will be used for the remaster. Furthermore, the remaster will include new VFX that will be created using AI.
