What was your first R-rated movie?

My first was Caddyshack.. For learning how to ride my bike in quick succession without training wheels, my dad rewarded me with dinner and a movie.. We headed to downtown Lincoln, NE and a Burger King down the street from the theater.. We walked in, and walked out, as my dad refused to eat there..

Then went to the theater.. I wanted to see the incaration of the Swiss Family Robinson that took place in the mountains instead of an island, but my dad decided that we would see Caddyshack instead.. I remember laughing my ass off most of the time, and feeling a bit funny during the scene with the naughty bits.. LOL...

I honestly can't remember what my first R-rated movie was. I know my first GP movie was COUNT YORGA, VAMPIRE, which I saw at the Midway Drive-In. (And, yes, it was "GP" before it "PG.")

I really have no idea. My parents didn't really care which movies we saw. Actually my family has always been really into watching movies and they rent several weekly, so I probably saw tons of R rated movies before I was 10.

Me too. And as the USA has a strange rating system (Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain is R-rated for example), I might have seen several French and Italian movies which would have been R-rated before I was ten.

But the first movie I really knew was not meant for anyone under 18 was an Australian porn movie with Danish subtitles on a free TV channel on holiday in Denmark when I was 12.

After that I didn't care, but have once been asked to leave the cinema as I tried to get into a movie for people who are 16 and older.

But I still can't watch those modern horror movies (torture porn) where one sees body parts being slowly cut off or something similar like that, as that is stupid like hell.

Coming to America with Eddie Murphy & Arsenio Hall at age 11 or 12.

When that gal came up out of the water topless and all nice and told Eddie that "the royal penis was clean" my buddies and I were in 'hi-5' mode. After all we had snuck into the film.

Possibly Altered States (1980) in the theater. I was 13. Maybe Animal House, but that might have been on Cinemax later on.

On a side note, we got cable around 1981, and Mom had all three movie channels plus Playboy channel included. Could be why I'm as twisted as I am.
