What was the best Starfleet Ship Design ?

I think this might go better in General Trek Discussion. Hang on a sec.

For strictly utilitarian purposes, I'd have to say the Defiant class.

My personal favorites, however, are the Akira and Steamrunner classes.

Sovereign is the best designed starfleet ship

Intrepid comes 2nd, Defiant 3rd and Galaxy Glass comes 4th

Enterprise, TMP era. Simply the best.

And now that I have given you the Tina Turner earworm...

The best starfleet ship has to be the refit enterprise (1701-a) though the nebula's do come a close second

Whats wrong with you people? The Excelsior and Galaxy Classes were way better looking than the constitution one, the Ent-A had a certan magical quality to it espechally in TUC but I think thats more my nostalgia than liking the design, did have a decent bridge tho.

Hey guys - on that iRankd site you can add other ships, you dont have to stick with the ones there, we could go wild on this one! Bring on NCC-1701 G!!! (You don't have to register to do this - cool)

Bob.

P.S - Wouldn't it be great if we could create our own designs and add them to the fleet, my oh my - you could go nuts!

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. There's a lot of people who think the Galaxy is an abomination. I can see where the Ent-A would have the nostalgic value as well. I know my picks aren't a popular opinion either but there's nothing "wrong" with us for picking them.

Some would ask the same of you.
