What the Star Trek XI shuttle may look like.

So, I created a CG version of the shuttle we saw in the set photos a few days ago. I tried to piece together what it may look like from the photos we saw. Take a look...

Again, this is not an official image, just my best guess at what the shuttle may look like based off the images we've seen.

:eek::eek: Whoo-hoo!!! That's fantastic! I'm speechless. That looks really professional. Even better than your fake trailer and footage. Much better!

Beautiful work :techman:...

...however, I have a feeling the shuttlecraft will look more similar to the TOS variety, with the nacelles on the underside and no wings. I suppose the "fuselage" I'm envisioning will look similar to your tremendous artwork. It's just that I think Abrams will follow TOS's design more closely -- and that ship we saw last week is simply another variety of craft unrelated to THE shuttlecraft.

Although of course I could be wrong.

...oh -- and congrats on winning the trekmovie "fake video contest"

I was expecting someone to do this, but I wasn't expecting it to be this awesome! Great work!

The thing is fricking huge, so I'm going to guess it's actually a small ship instead of a shuttle. Could that thing even fit in the Enterprise hangar?

A little off-topic...

I was wondering if there is any significance to the Registration Number. Is that your date-of-birth, December 5, 1983? If so, you got a lot of talent for a "youngster" (24). Let's hope your work here and on trekmovie.com gets you noticed.

That's really cool looking. I certainly would not complain if that's what it looks like in Trek XI.

Actually, it's my wife's date of birth, which is January 25, 1983. But yes, I too am 24 years old.

once agian well done looks very much like the one in the pictures, can you give us some more?, I mean since we arent getting anything from JJ.

Man you 3D savvy people are amazing. Did you do any additional stuff to the render in PS, or did it come out like that, with the dirt and weathering? Awsome. I love these conjecture threads.
