While I do appreciate the tie-in comics, I find them prohibitively expensive in comparison to novels. And I feel kinda bad sitting there in the book store reading the trade paperbacks for hours on end and not buying them.

The ones that haven't been released yet. Starting with Ascendance. I hope it makes it into a local B&N before my 20% off coupon goes rancid.

Although I wouldn't mind re-reading The Lost Years, to refamiliarize myself with Dillard's version of the Tarsus IV genocide, and both Final Frontier and Best Destiny, to refamiliarize myself with Diane Carey's version of Kirk's childhood, and Fortune's Light, to see who (and what species) the woman with the odd ears is.

But I need to finish catching up on a growing stack of magazines. I just finished the November Model Railroader, and I'm in the middle of the November Popular Science.

I buy the TPB's instead of the individual issues. On Amazon, I usually find them for a pretty decent price.

I've been following the chart for the DS9 books and I'm still at Unity. It's going to take a while to get to current day I think. I would like to read some of the Voyager books and maybe TNG's A Time To series. I also want to read Enterprise's destiny series, which I heard was pretty good.

So much to read, I don't know where to go. Also plan to read non trek books too.

I don't think the Destiny series would qualify as Enterprise books.

I'm probably confusing books. I thought there was a series of Enterprise Novels that take place almost after the series or during the romulan war. I also read they were pretty well liked.

The Vanguard series and the first three books in Rise of the Federation... I jumped in with Uncertain Logic and found it far easier to follow than I'd feared. Vanguard I missed but was intrigued when it turned out Seekers tangentially relates to it.

Probably the next older book that I plan to read is Burning Dreams, although I doubt I'll get to it before Ascendance, comes out, which I plan to read as soon as it's released.

A few other older books I plan to get to at some point:
The Buried Age
A Stitch in Time
The Art of the Impossible
Serpents in the Ruins
The Left Hand of Destiny
duology
Orion's Hounds
Sword of Damocles
Synthesis

I'm only up to The Fall for TNG/DS9/TTN, so everything after that. I already own the first ENT: Romulan War book, but after the reaction it and the second one got on here I'm thinking about skipping it and jumping up to Rise of the Federation. I'm in the process of finishing up the final Vanguard book, Storming Heaven and I just bought the TOS/Vanguard epiloug e-book In Tempests Wake. I plan on reading that, and then continuing on to Seekers. I'm also planning on read most of the TOS novels published since 2012, and I've got dozens of Trek books from the 80s-early '00s that I also want to read.

I've only read half the 2015 books so I need to finish those. Other than that I've got the following to read and I'll have finished all the Pocket Trek line:
- a little over a third of the old numbered Trek books
- 8 SNWs
- 7 Shatnerverse.

So those are the Trek books I want to read.

I have a very big list, so I'm divvying it up by series:
The Next Generation
Gateways: The Other Side
A Time to... miniseries
Death in Winter
Q&A
Resistance
Greater than the Sum
Losing the Peace
The Light Fantastic
Takedown
Armageddon's Arrow

Deep Space Nine
Worlds of Deep Space Nine, Volumes 1-3
Warpath
Fearful Symmetry
The Soul Key
Section 31: Disavowed
The Missing
Sacraments of Fire
Ascendance

Voyager
Spirit Walk, Book 2: Enemy of My Enemy
A Pocket Full of Lies

Enterprise
The Good That Men Do
Kobayashi Maru
Rise of the Federation: Uncertain Logic

Vanguard/Seekers
Storming Heaven (Vanguard)
Second Nature (Seekers)
Point of Divergence (Seekers)
Long Shot (Seekers)
All That's Left (Seekers)

Titan
Sight Unseen

New Frontier

Martyr
Fire on High
The Quiet Place
Dark Allies
Excalibur, Book 1: Requiem
Excalibur, Book 2: Renaissance
Excalibur, Book 3: Restoration
Gateways: Death after Life
Being Human
Gods Above
Stone and Anvil
After the Fall
Missing in Action
Treason
Blind Man's Bluff

ALL (especially Pocket Full of Lies) of them. Except Enterprise. I don't like Enterprise. Nevertheless Rise of the Federation isn't published in Germany as Enterprise so I might pick them up.
