What Star Trek episodes or films have you been watching lately?

Just saw "Paradise Syndrome". Very odd, but I know perfectly well it's going to be out-camped by "Spock's Brain" tonight.

Since having finished Enterprise, I've started season one of Next Gen, which I dreaded, because of the stuffy captain.

So far, I'm up to Hide and Q, and I'm enjoying the show. I didn't realize Picard and co. had senses of humor

I'm currently watching First Contact. If I have time tonight, I'll watch DS9 "For the Uniform" after. Since I had previously set out to watch everything in as close to chronological order as possible, I wanted to make sure I watched FC prior to DS9 "In Purgatory's Shadow" since that episode references the Battle of Sector 001 (even though I've also decided to stray from my original plan and just watch DS9 straight through, then watch VGR).

I'm slowly working my way through the entire franchise right now. I've never actually sat down and watched TOS, except The Trouble with Tribbles. I didn't have high expectations because Trek wasn't fully developed like it was in TNG+, but I've been blown away by the quality acting and stories. Only thing that bugs me is the constant reuse of the same musical cues in each episode. ;)

Since my previous post, I've moved forward (from "In Purgatory's Shadow") into DS9 season seven. I'm currently watching "Shadows and Symbols" as I type this.

I recently did a run through of all the movies on Collector's Edition DVD with the director/screenwriter/text commentaries, depending on what was available. I found it odd that given his deep commitment to Star Trek, Frakes didn't bother to do a director's commentary for Insurrection other than his interview sequences on disc 2.

I've also started a run through Voyager, which I haven't done for about 3 years (we finished DS9 earlier this year, the kids and me - they only like TOS crew, DS9 and ST- 2009). So far, Voyager is a lot better than I remembered (I'm early in season 2).

^ Commentaries aren't a case of "bother" but rather of the studio commissioning a commentary, regardless of whether or not the participant(s) are paid for their time.

I yield to your logic. :vulcan:

It appears then that the studio has a low opinion of Insurrection. It was far from perfect, but certainly not a complete train wreck IMHO.

Watched Where No One Has Gone Before and Nemesis...sort of bookends to the series.

Just finished the last half of season 3 for ENT. I didn't realize that I had missed a couple of eps while in the hospital back in 2004. Got Harbinger in HD off of Zune. I didn't know that 15 or 30 seconds were cut out when it originally aired locally due to TPol's bare backside. Thank you HD and the pause button. I couldn't believe that Trip and TPol got it on mid-season and then there's nothing the rest of the season. What a Gip.

At the moment I've just started going through all the Borg Voyager episodes. Already seen Unity and Scorpion I/II. So far so good. Haven't seen Voyager in for about 3 years or so, though I did see Threshold a couple of months ago.
