This is the place to discuss your most recent general Star Trek onscreen watching. List whatever series or films you have been watching lately. If your interested you can even create mini reviews (or quick thoughts) on your latest Trek viewings, too.

So get that popcorn rolling and break out those DVDs and come back to post here soon.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

~J.

The latest Trek thing I watched was the DS9 episode Rocks and Shoals. Don't ask me why, but last night I suddenly had the urge to watch it. Probably because I think Vedek Yassim's "protest" is so shockingly brilliant.

Star Trek: The Motion Picture and "Patterns of Force" (TOS). I had been comparing the differences (scenes, dialog) between the 3 versions of TMP (theatrical [BD], director's cut [DVD] and special longer version [VHS]). Is there a web site that sums up the differences among the various versions of the film?

I just caught In A Mirror Darkly on SciFi today (SciFi Channel Serbia, that is), and continued watching it even though I watched ENT only a few months ago, because it's a really great episode. Oddly enough, two of the channels on my TV are showing ENT while I'm writing this: Terra Prime is on SciFi, while HRT is showing season 1 and right now Silent Enemy is on.

Last week I felt like watching the pilot episode of DS9. When it was over, and I was comfortable in my recliner (and too damn lazy to get up), I figured the disk was already in my player, so I watched episode 2. Then, since I still didn't want to get up, I watched episode 3. Now, it's a little over eight days later, and I'm on disk 5 of the season 2 set.

It wasn't planned, but I'm gonna watch the entire series. At this rate, I figure I'll be finished in three months.

Last Treks I've watched are Return of the Archons; Naked Time and Miri. And very enjoyable they all were, too.

I've been watching nearly all of TOS recently, and now I'm working my way through TAS for the first time. Some episodes are hit and miss, but so far, Yesteryear is my current favourite.

I've been re-watching Enterprise for the first time since the original run. The fun part is I don't remember many of the episodes so its like watching it for the first time for much of the series. I'll be starting the third season as soon as it arrives from Netflix.

For the first time in a few years I put on TWOK, and watched it start to finish. It was nice to see it again after so long. It is still a DAMN good movie.

When Enterprise was shown on TV I hardly ever had the chance to watch it so I bought all the series on DVD and am halfway through series 1. I know some Trek fans don't like Enterprise but I'm enjoying it immensely. There's good chemistry between the central characters and it has a raw feel to it, which I believe the producers were going for. Also recently I watched movies I-VI with my 13-year-old daughter, whom I lured into the Trek universe a year ago by watching Voyager reruns.

I was watching the TOS episode Space Seed and TWOK it is just the quintessential Star Trek episode and movie I love watching them what about you.

We watched The Voyage Home a few nights ago (or part of it - it was a VHS and there was another TV on, so, you know). It's so wonderful. A couple weeks ago we watched Relics, the Next Generation episode with Scotty. Scotty is such a riot in that one. And, let's see, Amok Time on Leonard Nimoy's birthday (or a couple days later, since I had given up Trek for Lent).

I recently watched all of the Original Series (Remastered) and it's six films. Right now, I am about quarter of the way thru TNG's "Encounter at Farpoint". It turned out to be more painful than I thought.

So I watched...

ENT's Carpenter Street
TNG's Pegasus
ENT's TATV
ENT's Regeneration
ENT's Home
VOY's Swarm

Instead.

Sbk-1234:

I never was a huge fan of the Wrath of Khan. However, after a recent viewing of it, it is like my new favorite Trek film, now.

It's funny how are tastes change.

Anyways, here is my full complete list of the Best Trek Films...

Best Star Trek Films:

1. Star Trek: The Motion Picture
2. Star Trek ll: The Wrath of Khan
3. Star Trek lV: The Voyage Home
4. Star Trek Vl: The Undiscovered Country
5. Star Trek: First Contact
6. Star Trek (2009)

I am currently watching the first season of Voyager. Wal-Mart was selling it for a pretty good price, so I bought it. I have to say, the episodes I've seen so far are pretty good.

Currently finishing up DS9 Season 5 and moving into 6.

Feels like it's just so awesome....feels like DS9 got more epic the longer I didn't see it......

I watched quite a bit of episodes today.....taking a break to let my mind absorb it all...last episode i watched tonight:

"In the Cards."

Good episode.....the Jake and Nog episodes are funny.

Just recently watched Star Trek II and III on HDNet, it was my first time seeing them in high definition and boy did they look good.
