"The Sword of Kahless", last night. I always enjoy seeing one of the old Klingons. I just realized now that the episode has no B-plot at all; it's all about Dax, Worf, and Kor.

Last night I watched "Minefield" from ENT's second season.
I have to say that part of me agreed with what Malcolm had to say about Archer's command style being a little too lax. Archer's argument that the crew needed to bond because they were going to be in space for a long time was valid, but I think he sometimes tended to treat the rigors of starship command with too much levity.
Finished season 5 of Voyager last night, including the good-hearted, but BORING "11:59" and I say this as a person who doesn't require non-stop action. Overall, I'd say this go-round, I've probably skipped more season 5 eps than any other season of Voyager so far. "11:59" should have been skipped and will be next time.
I thought it was funny how they recast Captain Braxton in the time ship follow-up ep. The actor they chose (was it "D-Day" from Animal House?) looked NOTHING like the actor who played him in the 2 parter with Ed Begley.
^ Yeah, well, clunkers are bound to rear their ugly heads every now and then, aren't they? I suppose it's best to avoid them when rewtaching a show. I definitely do not plan on watching "Threshold" ever again.
While my son was home for the holiday we did quite a bit of rewatching TNG (which he requested for xmas). I was lucky enough to find the entire series for sale on ebay. The other night we watched some of my favorites including LOWER DECKS. We both cried.
I've been re-watching all of DS9. Currently at Season 2's Shadowplay. I forgot how "violent" Kira was at the beginning. She was just angry all the time. I bet Visitor asked that her character lighten up before she gave herself an aneurism.
What do you know! I also watched "The Crossing" last night. I can't say I was too happy with the way the episode turned out myself. I could have gone for the aliens actually being benign explorers instead.
Voyager's "Pathfinder." It was ok. Cool that Barkley was right and the ship was able to communicate, not so cool that it seems like they simply redid his first appearance from TNG all over again (including some dialog) and reset his character back to that time as well. Troi kind of got on my nerves, but at least this was before the bad facelift and she still looked pretty hot, LOL!
