This isn't going down in history as a song spoken of in the same vein as work by Beatles, Nirvana, Eminem...not even Craig David... but - and this as a big but (a but big enough that Sir Mix-a-lot would be down) - the chorus and how it takes Mambo No. 5 and reworks the vocal melody into a minor key to twist the way we are meant to feel/react to these girls being named just works for me so well!

Also the really heavy fingered piano juxtaposed with how delicate her voice is slaps
