Protoholodeck program. An episode where everything from the sets, uniforms, and effects are done in 100% TOS style. Why it happens - time travel alternate reality stuff, Q, historical records with artistic license, who cares! It'd be fun to see.

JAG did this in their eighth season entitled "Each of Us Angels". Its set during WWII and all of the main cast portray different characters instead of their usual ones. It's actually the only episode of the series where none of the main characters (Rabb, MacKenzie, Roberts, Chegwidden) appear, just their actors.
Yes, this is my absolute must pick!An episode where everything from the sets, uniforms, and effects are done in 100% TOS style. Why it happens - time travel alternate reality stuff, Q, historical records with artistic license, who cares! It'd be fun to see.
- a "retro" episode: Using all and only the original sets, models, props & costumes from TOS, but otherwise 100% canon
- A "what if?" episode
Would also be cool if the SNW equivalent were, say, the same actors playing present day astronauts, on a Space Shuttle-like mission or something.JAG did this in their eighth season entitled "Each of Us Angels". Actually after "These old scientists" probably not necessary anymore - we now saw how the main cast looks like as cartoons. No need anymore for a full episode.
- a fully animated episode
I might be misremembering, but I think Eureka also did something of that nature. There was another show I watched in the last couple years that also did that, but I can't remember what.
I had a related idea back when Enterprise was on to do an entire episode set on a Romulan ship with the crew being played by the the Enterprise cast. There was another show I watched in the last couple years that also did that, but I can't remember what.
Use the existing cast. Romijn as Pike. Mount as Una. Navia as Spock...Cpt. Christine Pike, Juan Chin Reily, Eric Ortegaz, Chris Chapel
I would watch the shit out of this.Use the existing cast. Romijn as Pike. Mount as Una. Navia as Spock...
Well it is still possible. But hopefully the strikes will change that.I wish it was still possible to have a "multiverse" episode where Ethan Peckk, Zachary Quinto and Leonard Nimoy Spocks have to work together to get each of them back to their original time & universe.
Thats all the more reason to make a tired horror movie parody with someNo more Borg.
If I had the coin, I'd buy a billboard facing the Paramount head office that said exactly "that" in big, bold letters. No more Borg.
They do that all the time. So, not really that "special".
Let them find a wild west planet and get Anson Mount in his Hell on Wheels costume.
Pelia’s version of “Carbon Creek”, starring the NX-01 crew. I’m not even asking for Romulan War, as I’d be more than okay with seeing them in another unexplored period - the very early days of the Federation - even if its just a reunion in 22nd Los Angeles. But let’s finish the story.
