Well, I'm looking forward to a new TOS production.
In approximately five weeks we'll get our first substantial taste of what this movie's going to look like.
Going on what we know and have seen so far, which is admittedly little, I think it is going to be an enjoyable film.

Given the successful roll-out and buzz created for "Iron Man" at last year's Con, Paramount will almost certainly insist upon some kind of trailer or other substantial presentation for Trek this year - whether Abrams would rather wait or not.
Me too. And as far as Shatner, Kelley, Doohan, Takei, etc, not being part of it, that doesn't bother me at all. I've recently been watching James Cawley's fan series (New Frontier, or whatever it's called.) so I'm used to different actors palying Kirk, etc.
I am pumped for it - I say this as someone who saw TOS first run. But then again, as a part-time musician, I enjoy music from all eras too.

Seeing and having had a chance to chat with Zachary Quinto at a recent convention, I gotta say that I'm really starting to see him as Spock. Not that Quinto has completely replaced my Spock mental image of Nimoy, but I'm starting to merge the two. I'm sure this will happen with the rest of the cast as well. I'm very excited for this movie.
