What is your first name?

Pier.

Actually, I have a compound name, one that allows for many variations, but that's the one people most commonly use. (But funnily enough, not the one used by my family, or the one used by my fiancée.)

She calls you Snugglebunny

My name is mud

Mutenroshi can teach me French any time. I especially look forward to the red ink "see me" notes on my offerings.

You know Shameless, I thought Alex was short for Alexandra. I've never met a women who has the name Alex that's not short for something, that's very cool.

You're new, aren't you?

:guffaw:

Alex is a very common name in Scotland, occasionally female but mostly male, usually pronounced Alec, although it's always written Alex. It's short for Alexander although hardly any men are ever called the full name. It's so common there are short forms of it, like Eck, Ally (also for Alistair which is the Gaelic for Alexander (Alasdair)) and so on.

It's Sanda here
I've been on ST.com for more than an year, mad about 12.000 posts there, then they changed looks, and moved to Star trek Logs, but decided to take a look here too :) You guys are great!

We should be in our own cop show! The Gene and The Rock!
I'd trust the Gene Genie if you'd trust the Rock Rookie.

We most definitively are. :techman:

Beside the standard terms of endearment, we don't really do the cutesy-names thing.

Except when she calls me her sexy lizard. :D

^ Seemed to be the decent thing to ask.

I'm just "Doc" or more formally, "Johnny". To my girl and to everyone else. The occasional "honey" or "love" perhaps, but none of those cutesy-names. Good riddance :)

EDIT: Ever since my "neice" started calling me Mister Danny, I've stopped using my first name completely. I hate when people call me Danny. I go by my middle name, Johannes, nowadays.
