What is THE Worst continuity error in Trek history..?!

According to the stardates given in-episode, Tasha appears in several S1 episodes after her death in Skin of Evil.

I thought they said in the ep that it's been illegal since the Eugenics Wars - which is also silly because they happened on Earth alone, looong before there was a Federation.

I'm pretty sure that in Enterprise, Phlox says that the Denobulans perfected genetic engineering centuries ago, and that he and all Denobulans have been engineered/perfected/whatever.

I'd say that maybe that's why we never see them in the Federation (other than the obvious; they hadn't been invented yet), but we saw Denobulans join the Federation's precursor, the Coalition of Planets in "Demons"/"Terra Prime"

Which explains why Bashir's parents took him to another planet for the genetic "therapy." But then it wouldn't have been illegal, right? Perhaps it's illegal for humans to get genetically engineered?

There are two implications in that case:
1) as an Earth-based organization, Starfleet largely has to abide by Earth laws.
2) Although a Federation cirizen, Bashir is also an EARTH citizen, and risks being exiled or otherwise banned from returning due to his genetic modification status.

No, Phlox never said that.

"Cold Station 12"

(I may have messed up some details, but he definitely says Denobulans are genetically engineered)

Simply says they 'perfected' it. No mention on whether they're all genetically engineered...

Cold Station 12 said:
ARCHER: He broke the law. That's why he was in prison. And that's why I'm going to make sure he goes back. Denobula perfected genetic engineering a long time ago, but you never came close to destroying yourselves.
PHLOX: Perhaps we were simply fortunate.
ARCHER: Or maybe your instincts had caught up with your intellect. Food's getting cold.

Oh, okay. I have no idea where I got "centuries ago" from, sorry.

But you wouldn't perfect something you never use.

Just because they perfected the process doesn't mean it gets used on every man, woman and child on Denobula. Perhaps by 'perfected' they mean they learned what and when to use it for. :techman:

Unquestionably, the worst continuity error in Trek history has to be this one:

SPOCK: "My father's race was spared the dubious benefits of alcohol."
McCOY: "Now I know why they were conquered."
-- From "The Conscience of the King".

Continuity in TOS? What continuity?

^^I always just assumed McCoy was just trying to get a reaction out of Spock. Yeah, I guess that is kind of weak.

I wonder what the actual intention was with that line?

How about the 6 or 7 different names of the Enterprise's operating authority (before they decided on 'Starfleet')? Some of them are so ridiculous that they would have been rejected by Captain Video for not being dignified enough, like "Star Service", "Space Command", "Space Central", "United Earth Space Probe Agency", etc.

Troi is stupid in the bunny suit but smart whenever she wears a unifrom

Actually, Marina Sirtis said herself that the writers dumbed her character down when they put her in the bunny suit. Very sad, that. :( I don't have the YouTube video where I saw it said, but I definitely saw video.
