What is the age of the Enterprise (NCC-1701)?

We all make mistakes.
Of course I make mistakes. And so do you. And everybody in the universe (as far as I know).
But, we have not gone through Starfleet Training or Starfleet Captaincy as I am sure Morrow has.
A reasonable explanation might be that they simply didn't have the material to make age judgments.
But, in this case, they do (all in the 1980's, by Wrath of Khan). They have The Animated Series (and evidence of Robert April), they have The Menagerie, and they have Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan.

@PhaserLightShow

You might want to watch more Star Trek. Admirals make mistakes. Admiral Kirk makes a big one in Wrath of Khan. He makes a little one in Voyage Home.
Every Starfleet officer is different in some way. I know Admirals make mistakes but I was responding to a post that talked about Captains and another which said it wasn't about Captains. Morrow is not a Captain.
By the way, what was Adm. Kirk's mistake in Star Trek Four?

@PhaserLightShow wants you to look at the fanfiction thread, "Star Trek: The Prime Directive" which was created by PhaserLightShow

No, your point was someone with Morrow's training and position shouldn't make mistakes.

You don't recall Kirk saying "one little mistake" in the great hospital caper in STIV?

I don't like jokes.
