What if the Maquis had thier own distinct Shoulder Colours?
Janeway said that they were all one crew but then she gave the Maquis those provisional rank badges to all the Maquis except Tom, who was already the recipient of many, many, many death threats "apparently" that Chakotay had to bitch slap his crew hard to keep that motley crew from pouring strychnine into Tom's tea.
Where was I?
Separate but Equal.
I didn't even notice the provisional rank badges till half way through season 6, my encyclopaedia pointed it out with full page illustrations. Which made me feel betrayed. I've been on a vengeance kick since then like a fanboy scorned.
Where was I?
The costume department defined the prison labour element of the crew almost invisibly, but what if they hadn't chosen such a subtle hand when pretending these Terrorists were men and woman or honour and integrity?
What colour would you have like to have seen them branded with wholesale other than the usual Gold, Red or Blue?
