FYI the Nazis did recruit from a wide range of people. They recruited captured Russians into the German organized Russian Liberation Army who were anti Communist and captured Indians into the Indische Legion who were anti British and Bosnians into the Nazi 13th SS "Handzar" Division who were anti Serb.
Well i did write what i would have done if i had lived in nazi occupied europe. I did not lie. i wrote the truth.

I fail to see the relevance of that. Since they were fighting a losing battle, the Waffen-SS recruited people from different countries into their "foreign" divisions to keep their number up against the Allies. It doesn't excuse people joining them, either for a lust of power, setting old scores, or sheer sadism.
One thing is to suffer under the rule of Nazis for fear of your life. Not everybody is cut to be a Resistance fighter, and sad to say, most people would bow their head and just try to stay alive. I can understand that. I don't have the arrogance to say I know what I would have done. I hope I would have been able to stand up and fight, but since I never found myself in that predicament, I simply don't know.
But actively joining them or serve under them as a collaborationist against your own countrymen... it takes a special kind of evil to do that.
Usually those people are the first against the wall when the revolution comes for good reasons.

Go and read about Fascist Philosophy. It was international in its views. The first Fascist movement in the 20th century originated in italy. It was strong in many catholic communities like the Spainish, Portuguese, Italian, Hungarian and Croatian. It was not even anti semitic at first. The German Fascists added the anti semitic element to it later.
The Fascist Nazi movement in Germany was started by Hitler who was an austrian catholic and it's base of power was in strongly Catholic Bavaria in Southern Germany.
I am not a nazi or a catholic. I am a Pagan FYI and I will not be a nazi in modern times. But if i was a christian european living in occupied europe during WWII, the international ideology behind nazism will be very tempting to me.
No. Unlike the Wehrmacht, which was simply the German regular army, the SS were a criminal organization whose only purpose was to terrorize and oppress the population of Germany and other occupied countries. They were founded on principles of racial superiority and hate. There is nothing redeemable about them (except maybe the Hugo Boss uniforms: they were quite snazzy). Joining them would be to embrace their ideology, and their ideology was supremely and undilutedly evil.
I don't think you have to lecture an Italian citizen about the origin of Fascism.
If any kind of nazi ideology appeals to you, in any time, in any place, you are no better than them. And if you were living in occupied Europe during WWII and you actively belonged to a Nazi organization, Allied soldiers and Resistance fighters waging their war against invasion, oppression, and persecution would have been fully justified to have you shot.
Many people do not understand that fascism as well as communism are natural reactions to anarcho-capitalism. Fascism is on the rise in Europe not because all those evil people now crawl out of their holes but because conservative politicians care about austerity and inflation instead of unemployment.

If these aliens hold the orbitals and have no qualms about utilizing that advantage(IE there is no alien version of Amnesty International or journalist corps decrying the slaughter of innocent Earthers) resistance is utterly pointless. So you get your neighborhood or city to join your resistance? BOOM, a rock gets dropped on your head at a decent fracton of the speed of light. Resistance over.
So the only real alternative is to accept our new alien overlords. Learn as much as we can from them, and about them, as quickly as possible to even the playing field. Once we gain the necessary technological knowledge to fight for control of our orbitals we can think about open resistance. Until that moment we observe and record but do not interfere.
Whatever hidden human organization(probably some mixture of military, intelligence, political, and scientific types) understood these basic principles would be the one I would try to join and aid.

I would join for the uniform but not for the ideology if i was living in nazi controlled europe.

well i would use the ODESSA network to escape.For God's sake i am NOT a nazi. A lot of non germans who joined the SS were not Nazis. There were russians,indians and bosnians in the Waffen SS and they were certainly not NAZIS. They joined up because many were POWs who volunteered because of harsh conditions in the POW camps and also they hated the communists and imperialists more than the nazis.
Many citizens in occupied europe had a lousy economic situation going on and many did join the nazis because of that. Some joined because they believed in the nazi ideology and some joined for a paycheck. i am the paycheck type.
I don't think that you considered seriously the meaning of your statements.
