What I like about the show and what I don't

Yeah, the NX-01 and the NX-74205 are the two starships whose designs reflect this thinking, and they're my favourite ships for that reason. I find them more 'realistic' than some of the other ships in the 'verse are.

 

The NX-01 is my favorite ship, or more precisely the only ship I actually like. The first ship I ever bought a model of.

 

What about the Akira class then?

 

Not as elegant. A wee bit stumpy.

 

I like the NX01 design it has more of a military look and feel to the ship cabins and corridors and bridge. I like Trip& T'Pol and the other Enterprise characters. Things I didn't like T'Pol's ugly grey uniform. Also Tatv Trip's death and the way the characters weren't given a proper finale the show was a lousy valentine to the fans.

 

It was better than her orange velvet jumpsuit.

 

I don't know why people complain about T'Pol's clothes - I mean, you can argue that she should have had something more uniformy, but she looked fine. Simple and elegant.

 

Orange velvet is always ugly.

The fuschia velvet was also ugly.

VELVET is ugly.

T'Pol should have been a goth.

 

Nah, should've been Malcolm. Imagine his horror when someone unexpectedly walked into his quarters and saw him in guyliner and black lipstick.

 

"Orange Jumpsuit"? Sounds like something the criminal convicts put on...

 

Maybe if they had just changed her hair a little bit?

 

BTW, I don't think T'Pol ever actually wore velvet, though the costume dept was using new kinds of fabric to get a subtle "futuristic" look.

Has anyone noticed the NX-01 model beside other models from Enterprise' past in Admiral Marcus' office in JJ Abrams' "Into Darkness"? Could this be a clue?

 

That depends. A clue to what?

 

They destroyed the franchise (on television at least).
