What games are you playing currently?

I'm playing Sleeping Dogs and I'm really enjoying it.

I bought it because I thought Tomb Raider was fantastic and yet it apparently didn't sell as much as expected, so I wanted to support Square Enix. Now that they've made two great games in a row (and Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light before that), I think I'll buy everything they release on PC from now on.

Completed The Cave, well finished with 3 of the 7, I enjoyed it but I don't think I'll go back with another 3 any time soon.

Started Playing Dead Space 3. Changing the focus to be more action centric makes it a less interesting game, at least in my opinion.

The Last of Us is spinning in my PS3 Blu Ray Drive as I type ;) god work was so long today, waiting to come home to play this.

Played about an hour or so, slow pace but in a very good way. So far very impressive ;)

I feel like it's one of those games that may have a slow beginning to introduce you to the world, but it'll pick up as you get further into it.

I'm stoked. I haven't played any video games since I finished Tomb Raider a few months ago.

Did you like Tomb Raider? I thought it was a wel-made game with some great technical achievements, but it just didn't feel very "fun" to me.

Tomb Raider (not finished it yet but near the end) is no doubt a well crafted game and must be played by action/adventure fans BUT it never really grabs you like Uncharted did IMO.

I didn't care about a single character other than Lara and couldn't even remember their names. So the supposedly emotional and dramatic sacrifices and whatnot fell flat for me.

I guess I can see that. Every time Lara met up with the other characters, two minutes later they were gone and Lara was headed off by herself again. We didn't really get to know any of them very well.

Yeh Tomb Raider secondary characters bar one and I still forget his name were WEAK WEAK WEAK.

They were all stock characters, but I felt that was necessary to focus on Lara Croft in what was a survival/coming of age story. It wouldn't have worked as well if she had been part of an ensemble.
