What games are you playing currently?

I think the Dev was talking out of his fucking arse and what post credits scene? I never stuck around the first time I played to see that when I had the game on steam. I recently closed my steam account and have dropped all my social media and now it's only a local reddit group form where I live and imgur for posting photos.

Anna/Elizabeth had to drown every possible multiverse version of Booker in the creek before he either became baptized, and then became Father Comstock, or ran away and stayed Booker. But the end results are always the same, as she says to Booker earlier (later?) there's always a man, there's always a light house, there's always a city." Even the underwater city of the previous Bioshocks was affected by it.

The Letuces showed over and over that even when it came to random decisions, Booker would always do the same thing, but due to the effects of having multiple memories from the same place, and due to his horrible guilt, Booker could never reconcile this, suffering nosebleeds as a manifestation of it. (Whereas Father Comstock never crossed realities but was sterile due to the radiation from the early Letuce experiments.)

The end is curious because it might mean that there is at least one Booker Dewitt left, and perhaps this one never sold his daughter. It's left for the viewer to decide, like that spinning top at the end of Inception.

Oh I didn't know about that scene thank you.....

Well I've platinumed Horizon Zero Dawn and finished The Frozen Wilds. I've got Forbidden West installed on my PS5 ready to start tonight. I also plan on installing Elden Ring and Spongebob Squarepants Rehydrated.

After roughly 30 hours I think I'm done with Cyberpunk 2077. I beat the main storyline a while back and then I did a bunch of side quests. I definitely enjoyed my time playing the time.

Anyway, a few days ago I started playing Bioshock (the PS4 version) and I really like it so far.

Finished Forbidden West, the story could've been a bit better and too little flying mount missions...
Picked up AC Valhalla again, finished The Siege Of Paris DLC, back to England...

You are going to love Bioshock if you haven't done it already. It's great fun.

I am doing a replay of Wolfenstein The New Order after getting a copy on GOG. Lots of fun killing bad guys

I finished Bioshock earlier today. I really enjoyed the game. I'll probably wait a while before starting Bioshock 2 though.

Anyway, now that the PS5 finally supports VRR I started playing Ratchet & Clank again which runs at about 80fps in Performance RT mode (with VRR) and it looks / plays great.

What is VRR?

I've gotten the Daunt back to work and I'm ready to go to the Embassy and enter the Forbidden West!

At first, going straight from Zero Dawn, I didn't care for how much they tweaked some of the controls and menu options, but it's grown on me :)

What is VRR?
VRR = variable refresh rate

Basically instead of the TV and console being locked to a fixed refresh rate (either 60 or 120 fps) the console tells the TV when to output a new frame. So basically the game can run at pretty much any framerate and it'll look great (without the usual skipping of frames). There are certain limits as to how low the framerate can go (I believe it's 48fps on the PS5 and 30 on the Series consoles)... but yeah otherwise it's an awesome feature. Not only does it help with frame drops like when a game can't run at a consistent 60fps. It can also run above 60fps if the developer supports that feature like Insomniac did with Ratchet & Clank and both Spider-man games.

Thank you.

I've been playing The Avengers on PS4. I got it for $10, and I'm playing just for the story and then casually afterward if I feel like it. While I'm definitely never putting any money into the micro transactions, for the $10 I spent I'm having fun with the game. Its definitely a game that would be annoying to get invested in if you really want a bunch of cosmetics and want to grind stuff outside of the story, but for $10 its worth a casual playthrough if you're a Marvel/MCU fan and want a decent action game.

I hated that game when I got to the Tony Stark part.... Kept losing my bearings with the flying part.. ragequit

Yeah I also got a pretty good deal on the game (I played it on the PS5). I only played through the main the story (plus the DLCs) and I really enjoyed myself. Sure the game had it's issues, but I still had fun with it.

Got it in Steam Sale myself. Enjoying it for what it is, but I won't be looking at any of the microtransactions. The freebie DLC and main campaign is quite enough for me:)

It takes a bit of getting used to him, but I liked him once I figured out how he works mechanically.

It feels like its a decent game that could have been an amazing game if the developers had been allowed to make the game itself their number one priority, instead of the Live Service elements seeming to be Square Enix's required priority. Maybe after this they learned a bit, since Guardians of the galaxy (which I haven't gotten to play yet) is apparently pretty good and just a single player game.

Yeah pretty much.
Btw I loved Guardians of the Galaxy. That game is so good.
