What games are you playing currently?

Yeah, nowadays, you can safely skip it. Ironically, even after the remastered edition, it still was pretty poor. Made me wish for the Devs to completely remake it with Witcher 3's engine and also port it to consoles.

I'd really like it if they did that.

I've been meaning to give Shenmue a try for many years. Steam has the first two games bundled together, often on sale for dirt cheap. And the multipack including those along with the third one and additional modules is available at a good price, too. The thing that keeps holding me back is the whopping 30 GB of required disc space for 1 and 2!

Kor

I haven't played any of them yet, but recently the third one was up on offer so I've grabbed that and mean to give it a try soon.

Yeah, I mean, technically the first one wasn't a bad game, just very rough, but they've improved so much since then that they could use that experience to improve it. Even the leap from the 1st to the 2nd game was quite big, and it's still a gorgeous game. But to have the first game remade and possibly offered as a DLC would really help for those who want to experience the story from the first game, because it does have a a good story. Just a shame that the gameplay itself is a frustrating mess. I found that it got easier midway through it as you gained more skills, but those first few moments are brutal.

switched to a new virtual server host and set up a new minecraft server for my family. set up a survival shack with a few goodies and it's ready for them to log into. it's our version of social media, how we stay connected when we're not in the same spot. weird, but us.

Restarted Assassin's Creed Odyssey, The new update making ports fast travel points is nice and having the Uplay stuff makes the character a bit OP from the start, especially having a bow from the start...

Shadow of the Tomb Raider. I enjoyed the first one in the reboot series but disliked Rise. Had gotten both Rise & Shadow free through PS Plus so figured I might as well finish it off. It's better than Rise, with a lot more focus on exploration vs combat than the last two games, but overall it's still pretty meh. I stopped looking at lore pretty early and now just collect for XP.

Pretty much how I play them..... The stories in the trilogy are just pretty meh, and the story in Shadow is just plain bonkers and makes little sense if you think about it too much.

I set the puzzles to easy - I'm not good at video game puzzles - and everything else is at normal, but I find the combat is still frustrating I have such difficulties aiming. It's not that it's hard, it's that I can't seem to get Lara to do what I want her to do or point the weapons at what I want her to aim at.

Don't feel bad I have the same issue, but for whatever reason had a harder time in Rise then I did in Shadow. I found the latter much easier and more fun to play.

Then there's my tagline: Lara Croft caused the apocalypse :)

I liked all the games, but felt the 3rd one, Shadow, was needlessly confusing when it came to collecting treasure. I liked how it introduced the ceiling grapple, but felt added complexity overall. I would try going back to collect what I've missed, but there were some parts I couldn't figure out how to get to even though I could technically see where I needed to go. I overall really liked this trilogy.

Currently, a friend and I are playing through It Takes Two and we're having a great time. We're still early into it, but it's showing lots of promise. Lots of puzzle solving and platforming. The Dev's previous game was A Way Out, which I really enjoyed, and this is proving to be another winner.

We ran into a bit of confusion early on though, before we even got started though. Only one person needs to buy the game, and the other needs to download the friends pass, which is technically still the full game but without any hosting capabilities. But whenever the invitation was sent via PS4, it would point to the purchasable game instead of the Friend's pass. In the end, I had to search for the Friend's Pass in the store and download it.

I picked up BL3 for £6 for the xbox SX, and the game looks stunning on it, and i had already played the game on the PS4 pro, but the difference between the game on last gen consoles and on these new consoles is night and day, just amazing, the detail that is so sharp it could cut you in half, the lighting and colours just pop, and the 9 second loading times between levels is something to behold. Ha

Got back into playing Final Fantasy XIII a little bit earlier tonight. Beat the protoflorian boss and now Im in the section playing as Vanilla and Sazh and have to fight these two beasts that are kicking my butt.

I think i had enough of Final Fantasy XIII being a bit too tough during certain parts of the game when you only have two characters to get through a area.

Im going to go play Tales of Vesperia or something else

Just finished Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut on PS5. I've got a Red Dead Redemption 2 replay that's been on the back burner I'm looking forward to getting back into.

I've been working my way through the single-player missions on The Master Chief Collection on Series X.

I haven't played much Halo before, but I've been having a blast. Well, up until Halo 3: ODST, which is pretty boring to me. I think its replayability must lie in multiplayer?

I started Halo 4 today instead and it's much better. Not as good as 3 at the moment, but it feels like Halo. :D
