What games are you playing currently?

^That was the same thing I though. It was going crazy trying to figure out which Assassin's Creed game had had NH in the title.
Sorry, I meant the third one. I tend to forget it's not the first and just call it "The Witcher". While you certainly get your money's worth with all the stuff to do, it's just a bit too much for me these days. It's one of the reasons I don't anticipate getting Cyberpunk. I just don't have that kind of time to devote to a game. I'm not talking about quests and side quests,, I'm talking about all the shit it seems you have to keep up with and track of. Different oils, mutagens, cards, crafting, ingredients, stones, etc. Skyrim is simplistic by comparison, but has just the right mix of shit to do and freedom to ignore all the crafting stuff if you want. Maybe Witcher does, but I'm still trying to re-discover everything and it's getting on my nerves.
I remember it took me a little while to keep all of that straight but even once I did, I pretty much just did the bare minimum and was able to finish it.
Are there any good non Spider-Man Marvel games for the PS3 or 4 that aren't LEGO? I realized the recently that pretty much every non-LEGO Marvel game I've played has been a Spidey, and was wanting a Marvel game with a different character.
I know about the Avengers game coming out later this year, and am very eager for it.
I've tried Ultimate Alliance, and I didn't care for it, so those two or any like them are pretty much out for me.
I finished up my second play through of Star Wars: Battlefront II a couple days ago, so I went back to replaying Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction this morning.

Played Pokemon Shield today and finally ended a shiny hunt, as I finally hatched a shiny Zigzagoon. :) Also played some Mario Maker 2. Played some Animal Crossing New Leaf and Tomodachi Life last night.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Now you manage a whole island; I've decided to go for a Dark Age Arthurian look down the line since I can't recreate a little New York City.

Until you described it, I too was thinking a Creed game. I've only played two of them and was fairly sure the US entry wasn't called New Hampshire but it's the only possible name I could think of at the time :D.

Given how often it's been advertised on tv here, Animal Crossing should have been obvious though.

I'm playing a bit more of The Witcher 2.

Recently continued playing Assassins Creed Odyssey again and the scope and sheer size of the game still amazes me (all AC games do and i'm curious to see what Valhalla will bring this Christmas - still contemplating getting a PS5 or XBox whatever since i'm mainly a PC player).

Recently i bought the overpriced Gears of War Tactics and it shows what you paid for - looks awesome, gameplay is fantastic and the skill/equipment mods look intriguing and i've only been playing 2 hours or so but it's a proper Gears game all right complete with the Gore (you can turn that off), all the weapons we have seen in the FPS Gears games and the guys are still steroid monsters :D

A very nice touch was what i found in the options - settings for colorblind people. I have a red/green weakness meaning i easily confuse red and green and it always frustrates me a bit when games use red for enemies and green for your own troops, had a few choice words now and then when i mistook some units for my own and vice versa but this is a very nice touch (must have had some people at the company who have similar problems who surely came up with that idea ;) )

A lot of games have setting for color blind people now.
I realized a while back that I never finished replaying Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, so I went back to that this morning when I got frustrated with the Ratchet and Clank game. I'm go back to switching back and forth between those two until I finish them.

Currently dusted off the following..to me it's a great game, a bit buggy and hard as hell to get to run on Windows 10..but I got it operating..a few bugs and instability left, but I'll get it fully stable soon..

@Turd Ferguson Hey hi.. What's quantum break like? I keep looking at the game but keep deciding to pass on it but the idea and story kind of interest me, plus it's got the girl from Control in it.
I'm not sure I've never played it. I was torn between getting it or Assassin's Creed Odyssey (that Valhalla trailer REALLY made me want to play an Assassin's Creed and Odyssey and Rogue were the only two I've never played) so I got Odyssey and I'll play Quantum Break afterward :)

Oh, sorry. My mistake I thought you had played Quantum Break.

Been playing Animal Crossing New Horizons lately, Pokemon Shield and some other Switch games.

I've fallen down the Animal Crossing New Horizons rabbit hole as well - what a soothing game! My Switch was mostly just collecting dust when there wasn't a new Pokémon game to enjoy but now I use it as much as my PS4.

OK what is the switch like?
I have a ps4 but hardly touch it. Games just don't do it for me on there but I do use it to stream stuff like netflix.

Are there any mainstream games on there that are not Nintendo and overall what is the console like to use?

Oh cool interesting list there.

But what is the console like to hold / feel. Does it feel like something quality to use and not just expensive plastic if you know what I mean? Does it feel worth it?
To a point. I like the build quality of the Wii U gamepad more. The joycons are the weak point of the system. I baby mine and try to limit using the joysticks as much as I can, given how much it costs to replace them. Hoping to get a pro controller when I can, since the build quality of it seems better.

Had to send mine in due to some issues and Nintendo repaired and replaced them for free. Also ran into a system issue. Thankfully Nintendo replaced whatever was malfunctioning on my system at no cost.

If you do get a Switch, best advice I could give, is to get Nintendo's online service. It saved 99 percent of my saves when I had to start things again. Best $20 that I've ever spent.

Also invest in a screen protector. Went with an amFilm one. They're pretty good. The Switches screen can be scratched easily, so using a screen protector helps protect it on that end.

I'd say this depends on whether you're going for a "big" Switch (TV&handheld) or a Switch Lite (just handheld). I can only definitely speak for the big one since that's the one I have, but it feels okay to me. It's a bit heavy for a handheld tho and the battery life isn't the best either. So I'd recommend using the big one more as a TV console. If you're more interested in using it as a handheld, go with the Switch Lite.

I have the big one and only use it as a handheld. Given that I've read about instances of people's systems warping when using it docked.

OK thanks guys this is something to mull over. $349 is a lot to pay here for a handheld console so it's a lot to think about.

You're welcome. I ended up saving up for it myself for what it's worth. Took time, but it ended up being something I don't regret getting.
