What games are you playing currently?

I gave up on Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, the whole card thing was just annoying the hell out of it. So I just the synopsis on the Kingdom Hearts Wiki and jumped ahead to KH II. This is my second time playing KHII and so far I'm loving it.

I don't think I'm going to go back to Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, I found the gameplay kind of repetitive, and the writing was pretty bad.
I think at this point I'm going to just focus on Kingdom Hearts II.

Finished Watchdogs 2. I thought it was a fun game with fun gadgets. Got me interested enough to be looking forward to Watchdogs: Legion.

I'll be starting Horizon: Zero Dawn today.

I beat Yakuza Kiwami 2 yesterday. It was really fun, and the new engine was really good. The combat didn't have quite the variety I liked from Yakuza 0 and kiwami 1, but it was still fun. Since I bought the Yakuza Remastered collection my next game in the series will be Yakuza 3 (Remastered), but before that i'm going to play through DBZ: Kakarot (which I'd started the day it came out but paused for a few days to beat YK2).

I really am loving the Yakuza franchise. I'll definitely be picking up Judgement and Like a Dragon (when it comes out) once I've finished Yakuza 3-6.

Went over a few classics recently..(These puppies are all about 20 years old or so.) Duke Nukem 3D..Shadow Warrior, Redneck Rampage..all politically incorrect..but I do love 'em

Started playing Deus Ex: Human Revolution recently on my XBox One; it''s an amazing game, and almost topical (the game's plot about augmentation reminds me of the anti-vax kerfuffle.)

After getting my ass kicked repeatedly by the bird thing on Dathomir, I finally decided to turn the difficulty down to Story Mode on Jedi: Fallen Order. I really wish there were some sort of difficulty level between "Easy as fuck" and "hard as fuck."

Still beat sabering in between bursts of the Dr Who game. Dunno how anyone can beat the levels above Normal difficulty unless they are an actual Jedi Knight. 360 levels are fun, just wish all the songs had them.

I kinda want to try sideloading stuff since apparently you can get custom songs in there that way, but don't wanna risk crashing a £500 piece of kit. Anyone done it?

I've started another playthrough of Telltale's The Wolf Among Us, this time on PS4 (I got it and the second Telltale Batman game, which I've never played, on sale from the PSN store). Its still a great story/game, and as a huge fan of the Fables comic and the first game I'm glad we're getting another one, even if Telltale as a company is pretty shitty I do love their formula and the quality of writers they usually have.

I've also been playing Bayonetta on Wii U (I got it included with bayonetta 2). Its a goofy fun time, I'm playing on easy because I'm not great at Devil May Cry type games and this is known as a tough one anyway, so I'm pretty much just button mashing through and enjoying the weirdness and atmosphere of the game.

The Telltale that's just starting up, is not the same Telltale that was around before. It's the same name, but I believe pretty much all of the people involved are totally different. Somebody else basically bought the name after the old company fell apart.

I grabbed Borderlands 2 VR on sale a few weeks ago, i am now on my UVH run through, the game just like Skyrimvr is just something else when you are actually in the world........amazing....and a time vampire, i had a 10 weeks run on MS rewards app on the xbox going for a free 1000 MS points and i missed it because if this game. lol

Is that platform-specific? Skyrim VR gave me a headache as the graphics were very blurry in mid-distance i.e. the sort of range I normally fight at as a spellcaster/archer. But Borderlands has more cartoony graphics so might be better? Also, that was on my trial of the PSVR where I only had a dualshock controller, have since switched to Oculus so have the Touch controllers.

^^^On the psvr, i am using the joypay as for me those ancient ps3 move controllers are just useless without thumb sticks, and that aim controller gun thing suffers from random drift issues that make it just too much of a annoyance to use, so i use the joypad but it is still a cracking game no matter the controllers you use as that vr immersion is just off the scale......but i am waiting to grab it on the pc steam version when it drops in price to use with the cv1 as that system in my view has the best vr controllers yet made for vr.
What system did you play skyrim on?

PSVR, said so in the post :p

I was probably spoiled by having been playing the regular version with the HD texture mod installed - you don't get razor-sharp graphics in VR unless you've got a Vive or Rift and a beast of a GPU layout. The Skyrim drop in quality when looking at middle distance was enough to throw me out - though I'll admit I wasn't wearing my specs at the time due to lack of a decent glasses divider for the PSVR headset and the danger of scratching the lenses. The Oculus has a very easy-to-fit divider.

I meant vanilla or pro ps4, i hear Skyrimvr on the vanilla ps4 was quite blurry but the pro ps4 got a patch that used the extra power to make it nice and sharp, and i am sure BL2VR got also got a enhanced pro patch to make it nice and sharp.

Everybody's Golf on the PS4. I've owned these since the PS2 and I love them. It's just so relaxing to play, yet is a fully fledged golf game with all the physics and mechanics of an EA release.

This weekend I got the Spyro Regnited trilogy, and I am having a blast with it so far. I loved these games when they first came out, and they still hold up.

I finally hopped on the Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare bandwagon last week. (Haven't played since COD: WW2.) I've been loving the Picadilly level and the return of Shipment. Bought the season one battle pass before the start of season two. Definitely want to buy season two. The only downside? The update files are ridiculously large. 51GB for an update? The game's already well over 100GB.

I'm loving Horizon Zero Dawn. I didn't realize just how expansive the game is until I crossed over into Carja territory. Sometimes I feel there's a lot of travelling, even via mount, but it gives the locations such as cities a real sense of place. You're going somewhere and it's not just a hop and a skip away. It makes me wonder what else is out there and I know I'm not even halfway into it yet.

Bioshock and Bioshock infinite were basically free for the price of PSnet membership this month, so I signed up for the month and downloaded them. Replaying Infinite at the moment.
