What games are you playing currently?

Battlefront II and Black Ops 4 on the PS4. Im getting better at those. I actually got a UAV once.

I started a second or third play through of Infamous Second Son yesterday, but I decided I wanted something new to play, so when we went shopping this morning I picked up Battlefront II. I'm really enjoyed it so far, I'm finding it pretty interesting getting to see the end of the Rebel/Empire War from the Imperial perspective.

I'm really into Days Gone now. I've no idea how far I am into it, but I recently unlocked the fourth area :)
I really enjoyed Days Gone. While not a perfect game, I had a ton of fun playing it.

Once you get across the mountain you're about halfway done.

Well, for the past few years I have eschewed most new games because I take exception to their marketing. Requiring installation of any software other than the game is a dealbreaker. Any "phone home" requirement is a dealbreaker. Selling what, ten years ago, would have been a demo, then trying to nickel-and-dime me for DLC to flesh it out is a dealbreaker.

So I've been digging out old games to enjoy anew, and haunting flea markets, yard sales, and ebay for games I missed along the way.

A fan of race sims (I raced for 35 years), I have GPL (2 installs), N2k3 (2 installs), GTL, GTR2 (2 installs), rfactor (2 installs), Rally Trophy, and RBR. Also enjoy Flight Sim 2004, Silent Hunter 3 and 4, CFS3, IL-2.

Along with Morrowind, Oblivion (3 installs), Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 Plat, SimCity 2000, SimCity 3000, Zoo Tycoon, Half Life/Opposing Force/Blue Shift, System Shock 2, No One Lives Forever 1 and 2, Torchlight 1 and 2, Chessmaster 9000, and an assortment of arcade games. (I'm a retired engineer, it keeps me off the streets.)

Yeah. :) Guess that the show creators like their crude but clever titles. It's a turn based rpg/superhero game where farting is a superpower.

Oh lord, that reminds me of an idiotic syndicated cartoon from around twenty years ago. I don't recall the name but it concerned earth being invaded from outer space and another group of aliens appearing to fight them off ...both sides were silly sci-fi versions of WWF wrestlers, with odd superpowers, including farts. I do recall part of the theme song:

"They come from space
To our defence,
With speed and grace
And flatulence."

At least these are rich rhymes. :D

I'm pretty sure I'm at the end of Days Gone. I was also just fucking around and decided to stir up a horde (Chemult Community College) and kicked their ass pretty easily with a mix of attractor bombs and my Chicago Chopper. I also took out a horde in an in-game mission and I ended up SLOWLY taking out a gargantuan horde at Lobert Draw Ridge. That horde took a while because I was short on supplies, so I kept luring Freakers into a choke point, unloading on them, running to the NERO checkpoint, buying more ammo and rinse and repeating until it was wiped out. Needless to say, I'm getting pretty cocky when it comes to Freaker hordes :)

I started playing The Witcher 2. God the prologue feels like forever. Scored that for under five dollars on gog and on steam. Also bought Wild Hunt in January but have never bothered with the Witcher games. I kind of backed off them from playing the very first one which had horrible controls.

The Bards tale IV on the xbox, fantastic stuff, has the feeling of a old Dos PC rpg from way back but done on modern tech, has a fre bugs to iron out but very good indeed.

Whatever you do don't buy Control now. Wait a few months because massive frame drops on base level Xbox 1 and PS4.

Games should never be released like this its as if they shove broken software out the door.

Never got into the first one (Like you say, the controls were a pain). I completed Wild Hunt and loved it.

On and off, I'm working through the second, but I'm still near the beginning.
