What games are you playing currently?

I started replaying the Kelvinverse Star Trek game yesterday, and it is buggier than I remember, but it's not enough to ruin my enjoyment of the game. Most of the bugs I've run into are the kind of regular glitches that even pop up in AAA current gen games.

Reminds me of one of my favourite Youtube video series:

Been trying out some PC games, since my brother got a Laptop capable of playing a lot of modern stuff. I have no idea how PC Gaming survived with having to use a keyboard/mouse. Its such a bad control scheme. Every game as 10,000 different commands, regardless of what type of game it is.

On the other hand, easy mods are fun. Playing New Vegas and adding new quests and stuff is enjoyable. Luckily it has full controller support though, trying to play it with a mouse/keyboard was impossible.

Also, speaking of playing games on PC, I did try a PC exclusive that was bad, but not because of the controls. Planescape: Torment is the most tedious RPG I've ever played. Its all fetch quests and has the most boring, pointless, and never ending dialog. I don't need a game to describe every npc in detail, or give useless people hundreds of words of dialog wasting time until the player realizes that they're useless. This game was on sale with a bunch of D&D games so it was cheap, and I've heard about the planescape setting so I wanted to try it out. In the end, after about 2 hours the game is just a bore, and also follows the Morrowind style of journal that I hate so much. Maybe the Bioware games which were in the bundle (Balder's Gate 1 and 2) are less boring. I'll probably try them eventually.

Depends what you're used to and the game you're playing. I'd never play a flight sim or fighting game with mouse and keyboard, but for shooters, I typically find it much easier than joy/gamepad etc

I've started a game of Borderlands the Pre-sequel, this time as Aurelia Hammerlock, her comments are sometimes hilarious..

I have never bothered with consoles, I do all gaming on the PC and to me the mouse/keyboard combo is second nature, I don't like joysticks or gamepads etc..

I do have some experience with consoles, but yeah, most of my gaming is done on PC's too. - I did tend to use a joystick a lot back in the day (from flightsims to platformers and fighting games) but any of the modern shooters (First or Third person) I'm strictly mouse and keyboard.

I'm a few hours into Fallout 4, not into it as much as Fallout 3 or New Vegas so far. Hopefully it'll pick up.

Seeing as it was mentioned in another thread, I thought I'd retry Oni (in win10-1803). With the Anniversary Edition patch, it seems to run well enough (though I may try to put some of the higer res mods in).
I had some minor issues to start off with the mouse lag - but only in the menu, After starting the game, it ran fine (and then back on the menu, it had also stopped lagging). Probably stick it on my DT (rather than laptop) and go to twon trying some of the various mods:)

I'm done with the Kelvinverse Star Trek game, I was trying to do a space battle this morning, and I couldn't figure out what the hell I was supposed to do, and I remembered that I've got a whole bunch of games I either haven't played or want to replay before the sequel comes out. I'm probably going to start a replay of the first reboot Tomb Raider game, the third one comes out in Sept. but I still haven't played the second. I want to replay the first one again before I go on to the second.
