What games are you playing currently?

And if you end up liking Black Flag, AC: Rogue is fairly good as well. Same formula as Black Flag, but primarily set in the North Atlantic and you're playing a former Assassin gone rogue. I think it's coming to current consoles this month, in fact. It's been considered better than Unity which came out the same year.

I was feeling a bit burned out on Horizon and Shadow of Mordor, and was in a FPS mood, so I started a replaying Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 this morning.
I'm really enjoying both Horizon and Shadow of Mordor, but they're both fairly similar open world games, and I needed a bit more variety.

I never finished MW2 because I always got stuck on the dam oil rig. I blow the door enter room then something goes wrong

I stopped this morning when I couldn't get through the damn favela. Everywhere I turned there was a crowd of bad guys, and I ended up dying every couple minutes. I was very slowly making some progress, so it's not a enough to make quite entirely.

I hated that, and I hated playing Max Payne 3..... It was almost cutscene the game haha.

I hate that oil rig in Modern Warfare 2

Bombing Busters and Claire: Extended Cut. Both pretty good games. Thank you PS Plus for letting us have them for free. Still have to get the PS3 games to try out. Hoping to do so this weekend.

Finally continuing the journey through the Uncharted series...
Finished 2 yesterday and started on 3, 4 and Lost Legacy are after that...
Then finish Rise of the Tomb Raider after that...
Really want to finish these games with an a-to-b story...

be careful you don't burn out on the gameplay, that is a lot of Uncharted to play back-to-back

4 is a tremendous farewell to the Nathan Drake story though, you can look forward to that!

Finished the Farewell episode of Life is Strange. A little short and not complicated but it was good to have Max and Chloe back.

Played a little more of Battlefront 2. I'm enjoying the single player mode but do have some quibbles. I'd prefer it to be longer (though that isn't expected on an fps nowadays), more time spent with the main character, and
Just in case, more time spent on the empire side.

I'm seriously out of practive on flying anything though:(

One of the last few quests in Horizon: Zero Dawn is a miserable pile of shit. No real spoilers, but I'll say this

Unless its the end of an opening mission of Metroid or something, NEVER TAKE AWAY A PLAYERS GEAR OR ABILITIES. It is always terrible, and I almost legitimately quit playing Horizon because of it. as it is, I'm turning the difficulty down to story, because fuck Horizon Zero Dawn for this crap. What a tedious fucking quest, easily one of the worst experiences I've had with a generally good game.

I am sick and fucking tired of playing games that are super difficult. Why the fuck would I play a game that is frustrating, takes forever, and has me die over and over? I generally avoid those, but apparently the Wii is secretly the Dark Souls of video game consoles. Metroid: Other M, besides having the worst story in any Nintendo game I've played, is so fucking frustrating. Bad directions barely tell you where to go, the motion controls don't always work and you move with the D-pad because Team Ninja apparently thought it was 1991 when they were programming the fucking thing.

Related to that, Sin & Punishment: Star Successor is a Wii rail shooter that does that bullshit of "easy mode" being hard mode in most games. That pisses me off more then anything. If something says easy mode, it should be easy. I shouldn't be cursing at the boss of the second level. Looking online, apparently its easy mode is generally agreed to not actually be easy, and false advertising really pisses me off.

Well, with that venting over, S&P is never getting played again by me , and I'm only continuing with Other M because I'm going to beat a fucking Metroid game. Yeah, I'll probably only play 15 or so minutes a day of Other M because of frustration, but in a few weeks I'll probably have this 10 hour ride through this frustrating experience finished.

I'm really glad I'll be getting Metal gear Solid: Twin Snakes for the Gamecube in a few days. A nice game that I know what to expect from and with a story I care about.

After an 8 month break, finally the immensely boring 4th Assassin's Creed game is at least becoming playable for me. I mean Revelations.

It's unspeakably boring if you play the games in chronological order, because it's almost an entire retread of the previous game, Brotherhood.

It's a bit hard to even get through. After Zelda, Bayonetta, and 2 times through Persona 5, finally though, I feel it's possible to play again. It's still my least favorite, but I think I can at least keep it and maybe even play again better next time. (Just not after Brotherhood)
