Chess Titans (Windows built in game) and the AI is a cheating piece of shit by abusing the stalemate rules when it's being hammered...

By the way that whole rule is total BS to begin with and was designed by people who SUCK at life itself :censored::p

Which version of Windows?

I can see it being appealing to younger kids and that's perfectly fine, but I've seen older more seasoned gamers rave about these things. Am I missing something (besides a soul or a sense of humour ;) )?
you're not missing anything, when it comes to the Lego games, I always return to quoting my wife after 15 minutes of gameplay in Lego Pirates of the Carribean

"okay this is boring af, can we play an actual video game now?"

Have to say, I'm not sure what the appeal is for the Lego games. A while back I got the complete Lego Star Wars in a steam sale and honestly...it was pretty dull stuff. The LEGO games are one of my all time favorite video game series. I love old fashioned platformers, and that is what these feel like to me. I think overall they do a really good job of combining the platforming, a little bit of fighting, puzzles, humor, and item collecting. My mom is a bit of a gamer, so the fact that these are something we can play together is another point in their favor for me.

I'm playing several things right now (Witcher 3, Smite, Mortal Kombat XL) but the Telltale Batman game has special attention. Its third episode rally shocked me, and I actually like some of the twists of the series. I wouldn't want to see these twists in the canon comic, but they work here as an interesting story. I'll probably end up playing the sequel when all the episodes have been released.

Picked up some games today. In the PSN PAX sale I got Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 and Oxenfree for PS4, along with Transistor, This War of Mine and Super Meat Boy (also for PS4) that my bother got. I also took advantage of a special deal at Gamestop and got Overwatch for PS4 new for $40. I've played a bit of MUA 2 and its as fu n as I remembered. I'll be trying out Overwatch (which I've wanted to play since it came out) as soon as its done updating.

With games I've been playing, in Witcher 3 I've finally found Ciri and did the first big battle involving her, and now I'm doing the quests to prep for the next stage of the climax of the game (I'm assuming I'm near the end at this point).

I need a break from Assassin's Creed: Syndicate and Mad Max, so I'm bought and I'm now waiting for the downloads of the Batman: Arkham Knight story DLCs Batgirl: A Matter of Family and Seasons of Infamy.

I still play NHL 2004, an updated version. Best hockey game ever.
And I still play Birth Of The Federation.

I've been playing a good amount of Overwatch and really enjoying it. I'm not winning a lot, but I'm having fun and I think I'm doing ok for my skill level.

Finished up Batgirl: A Matter of Family in Batman: Arkham Knights, and started the Ra's al Ghul story arc from the Season of Infamy.

Finished The Witcher 3's main story. It was ok. Overall I liked the game. It wasn't mind blowing, and for open world games I still like Skyrim better and RPG story wise I think Dragon Age and Mass Effect are better, but Witcher 3 was fun. I don't intend to get the DLC, but I'm glad I played the game.

Wow, I just played though the Mr. Freeze arc in Season of Infamy, and that was the perfect ending for the character.
I have to admit, once I found Nora, I expected her to die and then to have a big fight with a crazed Victor. The two of them going off together to die, was way way better than that would have been.

That damn AI always cheated. It would have a King, and I'd have 4 pawns, both knights, a bishop, a Queen, and my King, and it would be like "Stalemate!"
Yeah, Stalemate my ass.

Anyhoo, I just started a great little game called "Tomboys Need Love Too!" It's a visual novel, a genre for which I have much love.
