What games are you playing currently?

Started playing The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind a couple of weeks ago, without any of the overhaul mods. I'd honestly expected that it would have aged so poorly that I wouldn't really be able to get into it after playing Oblivion and Morrowind, but the core gameplay is just so dang good.

Playing an assassin/thief isn't as much fun as in the two sequels, however; the sneaking mechanics aren't that great, and because most of the NPCs stand in one place all the time rather than sleeping or going about their daily business you don't have many options other than using spells or killing them before you rob them.
Plus, you can't join the Dark Brotherhood in Morrowind, though apparently the Morag Tong are similar; will have to check them out.

I think my favorite game to play a thief/assassin in was Oblivion. There was this one house in Bruma where a grumpy old rich man lived, and I didn't feel too bad about breaking into that curmudgeon's house and stealing his stuff. However, I was caught in the act by his bodyguard, who was apparently awake. Having no other choice, I killed him (and maybe the old man as well; I can't remember), and got a cryptic message saying "Your killing has been observed by forces unknown."

Back then, I didn't know about the Dark Brotherhood, so what happened next was a pretty wild ride for me.

I'm stuck in a rut. I picked up Ryse: Son of Rome, Rare Replay and Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, but I can't seem to find a game that'll hold my interest at the moment. Hopefully Forza Horizon 3 will change that on Tuesday.

Diablo II: LoD, finished Act I Normal (HC) with my buddy last night, that game still hasn't lost its touch

Destiny: RoI, finished main story mission and played a quick Wretched Eye strike last night as well, Rise of Iron content looks very solid so far

I haven't been playing much lately since I've been working on watching TV shows, but I'm hoping to focus more attention on Batman: Arkham Knight and LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens starting this week.

I'm finishing up Dragon Quest IX so that I can start Dragon Quest VII soon. My unopened copy has been sitting on my kitchen table for a week and I haven't been able to play it.

Just got Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call on 3DS from Amazon. I've been playing the demo and enjoyed that, and the bit of the game I've played so far is fun. Final Fantasy has some amazing music, and the rythum gameplay to go with it is fun.

I'm also still playing Metal Gear Solid 5 on PS3. i've technically beaten the main part of the story (Chapter 1, which is the first 31 missions). I'll keep going for all the side ops and the few story missions in the second half (while skipping the optional harder versions of old missions). After that, I got the Tales of Symphonia Chronicles off of PSN during the Flash Sale for $5, so I'll probably start on the first game once I'm done with MGS V.

War Thunder. It's been on my hard-drive for years, but never played more than 2 hours. Until this weekend.
Looking forward to Battlefield 1, Watch Dogs 2 and Civ 6.

Downloaded the Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens character packs from Clone Wars and Rebels the other day. Unlocked a new achievement today, "Anything Else?" (destroy all the computer terminals in Starkiller Shield Room as Kylo Ren). Still only 94.1% complete, with two more achievements to unlock.

I'm in the process of installing Forza Horizon 3 on my Xbox One S. I can't wait to see what it looks like on my 55" LG 4K! (Spoilers: if it's anything like Forza Motorsport 6, it's gonna look sweeeeeeeeet!)

Played a bit of Pokemon Shuffle and played some Dragon Quest Builders (the demo came out today and I downloaded it onto my Vita). I like it so far :).

I just started playing Skyrim again. I played it a lot back in the first year or two it was out but never played any of the DLC. I picked up the Legendary Edition with all that for cheap a year or so ago but never got around to messing with it until now. It's a lot of fun, I've only gotten into a few of the new quests because I've been busy building my lake house and taking care of some of the other quests that need to be done.

Well, after taking NINE FREAKING HOURS to install, I can confirm Forza Horizon 3 looks pretty sweet :)

I've never really been too big into racing games but I've been wanting to check out those Forza games for the Top Gear content, as it's one of my favorite shows. At least it was before Chris Evans took over, and it might be good again now he's gone. I want to go around Gambon in the "C Apostrophe D", play some car football or race the Stig's Digital Cousin. Seems like it would be fun.

I've been thinking of getting back to Morrowind myself, but not sure if my CDs would still work. Might have to end up buying the whole thing again. If anything, I wish they'd work on a remaster of this for consoles instead of the Skyrim remaster. It would have more sense and purpose as I'm sure there are many people who'd love to get a crack at Morrowind that didn't when it first came out, and Morrowind could use a little love.
